Melbourne Victory will be gutted with that performance. They had a stack of chances on goal but couldn’t get home. The defending late left a few things to think about as the fresh legs of the Wanderers proved too much for a tiring back line. When Arzani and Piscopo were pulled midway through the second half the momentum shifted and the Wanderers were able to control parts of the midfield. They head home to take on Adelaide in a fortnight.

A cracking win from the Wanderers as they come from two goals down to score four unanswered goals to sink the Melbourne Victory late in the second half! Victory were still looking solid as they started the second half but it was the substitutions that changed the game for the Wanderers. Gersbach was excellent down the left edge and he had an assist in the leveller from Borrello! Milanovic nailed a ball home late before Antonsson finished it in added time! Thomas made a number of critical saves and Pantazopoulos had a cracking game in defence making two crucial saves of his line! They head to Wellington in a fortnight for their next clash.

Just time for the restart as Melbourne push back but they can't do anything with it as the whistle goes and the Western Sydney Wanderers come up with the victory!
