That is all we have time for on Tribe as Central Coast Mariners take all three points in the F3 derby. I have been Elliot Thompson, and thank you for joining me. Tune in with us on Tribe tomorrow for more A-League action, starting with Brisbane Roar against Adelaide United.
So the Central Coast Mariners move up to eighth place in the table as they now sit on six points. They are four points off Melbourne Victory, who sit at the top with a game in hand. Newcastle Jets drop down into 11th after that loss. They are just three points off Brisbane Roar; they sit at the foot of the table.
It is back-to-back defeats for Newcastle Jets now as they lose the F3 derby even though they took the lead. In the first half, Rob Stanton's side was not at it at all, as they only had one shot at goal. In the second 45 minutes, they seemed to be attacking with much more fluidity. That was helped by the introduction of Ben Gibson. He inadvertently set up the goal as his shot was blocked by Peraic-Cullen. However, it fell to Aquilina, who had an empty net from a few yards out. They only led for two minutes, though, as Scott was at fault for the equaliser. He came for a cross and got nowhere near it. Then Susnjar scored the own goal, but he cannot take any blame after a fine performance. It just wasn't to be today, but the optimism for this season is quickly fading away for the Jets.
CENTRAL COAST MARINERS WN THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON! Well, you can probably hear that big sigh of relief from Mark Jackson wherever you are, as he needed that win so much. After such a good season last campaign, to still not have a victory in all competitions meant the pressure was building on his shoulders. He probably thought the worst when his side went a goal down after an hour, even though they were the better side. However, his captain, Kaltak, scored the all-important equaliser as he headed home a cross from Steele. With 15 minutes to go, they managed to find the winner. Ngor, who was great off the bench, passes it forward to Mauragis on the left wing. His cross was intended for Edmonson, but he missed it. Susnjar wasn't able to stop it from hitting him and rolling into the back of the net, though. So, it was a fantastic victory for the Mariners after many games of heartache to start the season!

The Jets have now made another change in the dying seconds due to that concussion sub from the Mariners. Cancar has come off for 16-year-old Dobson, who goes up top. If he gets a touch, it will be a surprise.

The Mariners have had to use a concussion substitution here, as Wilson is still holding his head. He has made way for Herrington.

Cancar jumps up to win a header. He is committed to winning the ball, which he does, but he knocks his head into Wilson at the same time. Wilson also fell on his neck, so he has stayed down in some discomfort here.
