It's finished all square between Macarthur and the Central Coast Mariners to close out the round. Enjoy your Christmas and have a Happy New Year with family. Make sure to join us on Tribe next weekend for more A-League Men's action. It's been a pleasure bringing you this one tonight from Campbelltown. For now, Harrison Ryburn signing out.
Next up for Macarthur is a trip to Perth on Saturday, whilst the Mariners return home to face league leaders Auckland FC in Gosford on the same day.
The night belongs to young 16-year old Haine Eames, who shone in his first A-Leagues start with a first professional goal. Aside from the goal he wasn't involved in the thick of the action, but by popping up with the decisive moment for the Mariners, he'll deservedly reap the plaudits. Otherwise the defending champions were good value for a point, dominating the majority of possession and field territory, and lifting the tempo in the second half. There was a clear lack of firepower up front, and Alou Kuol was missing for the vast majority. They'll be happy they did enough to hold their opponents to a stalemate though, and this was much improved on last week's humiliating four-goal defeat to Adelaide at home.
Again it was all about the counter-attack for the Bulls today, and they were happy to sit back into their defensive shape for long periods, before exposing their opponents in transition. It worked well for the opening goal inside the first eleven minutes, and there were other moments where the likes of Jakolis, Germain, and Drew picked up possession in dangerous positions during the first half. The equaliser from the Mariners just after the break completely changed the game though, and with time running out, they tried to play on the front foot with more of the ball. It didn't result in any big openings, but it meant they were able to take the sting out of their opponents fightback. Perhaps most pleasing for Mile Sterjovski will be the defending of his side again, who backed up recent performances with another disciplined showing.
Fulltime in Campbelltown and it ends all square between Macarthur and the Central Coast Mariners. Trailing at the break, the visitors fought back in the second half, and 16-year old Haine Eames made history by becoming the Mariners youngest ever-goalscorer with the equaliser. The contest appeared set for a grandstand finish, but despite a late red card for Tomislav Uskok, the Mariners couldn't quite complete the turnaround. That makes it four games unbeaten for the Bulls, whilst the defending champions remain unbeaten in Campbelltown from their five A-League visits.

Theoharous picks up a yellow card with pretty much the last kick for a late challenge on Scott.

90+5'
The ball bounces over the sideline for a Mariners throw on halfway, and it's sent long in search of Brandtman down the right. Scott gets in the way to intercept though, and the Bulls manage to clear away.
90+4'
Piol faces to chase a long ball down, and loses control over the byline for a goal kick. Just a minute left now, and it looks as if the Bulls will settle for a stalemate. Peraic-Cullen launches it over halfway.
