That is all we have time for on Tribe as Australia manages to finish this qualifying phase with a perfect record after beating Palestine. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Make sure you stay with us on Tribe later on as Portugal take on Ireland in their last preparation game for the European Championships.
Australia have then finished Group I with a perfect record with six wins out of six plus no goals conceded as they sit on 18 points. Thankfully for Palestine, this game didn't matter as they have also advanced through to the next stage of World Cup qualifying. They have come second on eight points with Lebanon not able to catch them. The next stage of qualifying for these two nations will come in September.
Palestine can be pleased with some aspects of that 90 minutes but they did cause some of their own issues with a high line. Australia took advantage of that on several occasions especially without VAR here. In the second half when Makram Dabboub decided to make some changes Palestine really took the game to Australia. Dabbagh. Zeidan and Jondi made a big impact. Zeidan had a couple of shots saved from outside the area. In the very last minute, Jondi came closest for Palestine as he cut into the box from the left wing to fire a shot at goal. Unfortunately for him, the shot flew just wide of the right post.
AUSTRALIA WIN BY FIVE TO HAVE A PERFECT QUALIFYING STAGE! The Socceroos ran away with this game in the first half. In the opening five minutes, they made sure they got off to a good start when Yengi dispatched home a spot-kick. Taggart then got involved with a lovely finish after a pullback from Boyle on the right side. Just before half-time, Yengi got another one finishing from close range after Boyle again had done well on the right wing. After the break, Boyle then decided to get a goal after some unselfish play from Taggart to give him a tap-in. With just three minutes left, substitute Irankunda got in on the action as he smashed home a penalty due to a handball from Hamed.

SHOT! On the right side of the box Zeidan has some space. He pulls the ball back to Jondi who on the stretch manages to get a shot off. Jondi drags his attempt wide inadvertenlty finding Zeidan again. Zeidan tries to get a goal but he is offside.

SHOT! Saldana plays a nice pass over the top of Jones on the left wing. Jondi gets on the end of it then cuts inside into the box. On his right foot he goes for goal. The shot whistles just wide of the right post. That is the closest Palestine have come!

Metcalfe wins the ball on the right wing. It comes to Stamatelopoulos who turns to try and start an attack. He is clipped from behind though by Saldana so the referee gives a free-kick. Irvine goes backwards with the set-piece.

AUSTRALIA HAVE ANOTHER TO MAKE IT FIVE! Irankunda places the ball down on the spot. He runs up with speed to hammer the penalty into the bottom left corner. Hamadeh is sent the wrong way as Irankunda starts his back flip celebration.
