Both teams in Group F are still hopeful of advancing, but attention shifts to Portugal's upcoming match against Turkey which is less than an hour away. A draw in that game would leave both today's teams requiring a win in their third match to stay in contention for progression. I'll see you then.
Czechia pressed forward after taking the lead, with Krejci missing a header and Matej Jurasek's long-range effort saved, but their momentum was disrupted when Schick exited due to injury. Meanwhile, Georgia visibly fatigued in the final 15 minutes, and Chytil missed a late header chance. Despite five minutes of added time, the Czech Republic couldn't improve their recent group-stage record, securing only one win in their last eight Euro matches. In a dramatic conclusion, Georgia missed a historic chance to claim their first major tournament victory when Saba Lobjanidze fired over the bar with only the goalkeeper to beat on the final move of the match.
Despite early warnings from Ivan Hasek's side, particularly from Vladimir Coufal's long throws causing chaos, Adam Hlozek, Ladislav Krejci, and Patrik Schick were all denied goals, including one disallowed due to Hlozek's handball. Jindrich Stanek, initially untested, later saved Guram Kashia's effort but couldn't prevent Georges Mikautadze from converting a penalty awarded for Robin Hranac's handball. The game remained intense with Giorgi Mamardashvili making a crucial save from Schick just before halftime, and Anzor Mekvabishvili narrowly missing a chance to extend Georgia's lead. However, the Czech Republic equalized shortly after with Ondrej Lingr's header hitting the post and Schick inadvertently guiding the rebound in, making him his country's leading scorer at the Euros with six goals.

GEORGIA BLOW THE CHANCE TO WIN IT! Georgia executed a swift counterattack, with Giorgi Kvilitaia threading a precise through ball to Saba Lobjanidze inside the right side of the penalty area. Lobjanidze had time and space to line up his shot, but unfortunately, his effort sailed just over the crossbar, missing a golden opportunity to secure the victory for Georgia in what would have been the decisive moment of the match.

Kochorashvili is booked needlessly for slowing a Czech free-kick on the halfway line.

Soucek delivered a precise pass to Jurasek on the left flank, who skillfully cut inside to create shooting space. However, his resulting shot lacked power and direction, comfortably collected by the goalkeeper without trouble, denying the Czech Republic a chance to threaten the opposition's goal.

Tomas Soucek displayed excellent movement to find space, but his delivery into the box lacked precision, allowing Giorgi Kashia to intercept the cross once again. Still, Czech are the only ones pushing for the winner.
