But that's all for me - I hope you enjoyed that one, whether you're in Browns Bay or Berlin. I've been Carl Allport for you here on Tribe - I'll see you back here for some A-League action this weekend!
No disrespect to St Pauli (ever!), but it gets temporarily easier for Bayern, who will have a couple of winnable Bundesliga games before facing PSG here in three weeks. Benfica only have three days before hosting Porto, and are back in Champions League action with a visit to Monaco later this month. That's a good place to pick up some high end shopping, not so good for collecting points this season - that'll be a tough one!
Benfica defended so well for so long, you thought they might just pinch something. But when they had a good portion of the game remaining with a deficit, they didn't have the quality to create something. Their back five were all good, their midfield largely anonymous, and their strikers kept coming with very little service. In truth, they were outclassed tonight and needed a little more luck to get past such a formidable foe.
The home side looked a little out-of-sorts tonight. Yes, they dominated, but their possession was often slow and sterile. Sane made a huge impact off the bench, causing absolute mayhem down the Bayern right channel, and it was his piece of quality that led to the goal, along with Kane's composed header and Musiala's finish. Upamecano and Kim locked down the defence and there were no shockers for the home side tonight. Perhaps the bigger stage inhibits Bayern's stars and they are less likely to take a risk like they may in the Bundesliga. Still, they'll surely take the W.
But it's all to no avail for the visitors, the final whistle sounds as Musiala's header makes it thirteen unbeaten for Bayern against Benfica!

One last attack for Benfica as they send a long ball up the left...
90+4'
It's winding down for Benfica now, Bayern bossing possession in the last few seconds. The Munich faithful are finally singing.

Some time-wasting by Kompany as Musiala is subbed off for the Space-Interpreter, Muller.
