Dinamo Zagreb missed the opportunity to secure three consecutive UCL wins for the first time in their history, as they’ve now managed just one win in their last six matches across all competitions. For Dortmund, this dominant victory provides the perfect boost ahead of their Der Klassiker clash with Bayern Munich on Saturday. Thank you for joining us at Tribe for this coverage. Until next time, this is Sanil Karan signing off.
Dortmund's momentum was briefly disrupted by Julian Brandt's substitution at halftime, with Julian Ryerson coming on and Pascal Gross shifting back to midfield. However, Dortmund quickly regained control, and Gross delivered a perfect corner for Ramy Bensebaini to score a header and double their lead. Dinamo struggled to create chances, and Zagorac's excellent saves kept the scoreline from widening further. With little resistance from Dinamo, Dortmund cruised to a comfortable victory as Guirassy sealed it at the death with a well taken goal.
Dortmund, determined to break their away-day struggles, came close to opening the scoring early when Ramy Bensebaini's header hit the crossbar. Dinamo nearly capitalized on Dortmund's lack of sharpness when Ronael Pierre-Gabriel's long-range shot narrowly missed the target. However, Dortmund regained control, with Donyell Malen and Jamie Gittens causing problems down the wings. Their pressure paid off in the dying moments of the first half when Gittens, after a superb cross from Malen, scored his fourth UCL goal of the season to give Dortmund a lead at the break.

Reyna switches the play to Couto on the right, who delivers a cross into the box. Duranville manages to head it down, but Guirassy is unable to reach it in time, allowing Theophile-Catherine to clear the danger. The pressure from Dortmund comes to an end as Dinamo regain possession.

GUIRASSY SEALS IT! Schlotterbeck plays a forward pass for Reyna, but it’s deflected and falls perfectly for Guirassy. The striker finds himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and calmly slots the ball past him into the left side of the goal. It's a composed finish from Guirassy, extending Dortmund's lead.
