But that's all for me tonight. It's been a pleasure bringing this game to you live here on Tribe. I'm Carl Allport saying see you next time!
The draw means both of these sides are still only two and three points respectively away from elimination. Celtic will travel to Zagreb in a couple of weeks in a tough encounter. At the same time, Club Brugge head back to their beautiful little city to host Sporting.
Club Brugge will also have regrets here. They have a tough run-in and would have loved the three points tonight. Skov Olsen and Jutgla almost provided the goal that would have done it for them, they were both good all night. Onyedika won tackle after tackle and Mechele looked solid down back. But there wasn't enough from the supporting cast to maintain the pressure of the first quarter of the match and they have to settle for the away draw.
Celtic will wonder "what if" tonight - that first quarter of the game was dire from them, and when they started playing, they looked by far the better side. Too bad for them it took going a goal down to kick that in to gear. McGregor dictated proceedings for them in the middle of the park, Kuh was so dangerous on that right wing and Hatate grew into the game nicely. It was a nice little ball from the substitute Valle and a composed finish from Maeda that got their goal. For all their industry in the last quarter Celtic just couldn't find that winner.
And that's all we have time for tonight, the final whistle goes as both sides share the spoils. Carter-Vickers own goal in the first half was well pegged back by Maeda in the second half. Both sides huffed and puffed in the last quarter of the game - Celtic with the dominance but Brugge with the goal chalked off for a close offside. A cracking game ends all square here at Celtic Park.
