That rounds things off from the Bridge. A great win for Chelsea! For now, this is Nicholas Friedlander signing off.
West Ham will feel disappointed. They did enough to get the lead, and had a few half-openings to kick on towards all three points, but ultimately could not take them and were punished at the other end. Defensively they were exposed in the wing back area in the second half, which speaks to the face they are still adapting as a side so the new system. Jarrod Bowen showed no signs of rust up front, whilst Tomas Soucek was busy in the middle of the park. At the end of the day though, they leave with nothing and remain rooted in the bottom end of the table.
Again Enzo Maresca's men lacked rhythm in the final third, with Sancho, Madueke and Jackson all fairly ineffective, even if they get shots away that went wide of the target. The depth they do have in the attacking positions bailed them out, as Pedro Neto provided instant spark when switched over to the right flank. Cole Palmer too had a good night, having several dangerous efforts on the West Ham goal. Defensively they were solid outside of the huge error from Levi Colwill, and you would imagine Filip Jorgensen has done enough to hold onto the Chelsea number one jersey for the moment.
Chelsea did it the hard way, but they have got over the line to claim all three points in West London this evening. Trailing at the break, Pedro Neto was the real difference maker in the second half, scoring the equaliser, before playing a key part in the own goal which ultimately proved the winner for West Ham. They climb back into the top four!
90+7'
That's poor! With numbers in the box, Mavropanos makes the decision to step forward, before shooting himself, sending a tame effort rolling into the gloves of Jorgensen.
90+6'
West Ham force a throw high on the right, though rather than throwing it in, the ball goes back to Orford to launch forwards. Mavropanos met it, but he could only roll it through to Jorgensen.
90+4'
BLOCKED! Guiu slips in the area, and Mavropanos pinches it, before beautifully stepping out of defence. He slipped between the lines for Guilherme, who sped away from the midfield, charging towards the box! He laid it right for Bowen, who then cut it back for Kudus. He turned nicely, but his effort was well blocked by Tosin.
90+3'
Neto carries well at Scarles not once but twice, running the clock down in the process. Chelsea now in possession on halfway.
90+2'
Wan-Bissaka works down the right, but his square pass it well blocked, allowing Chelsea to bring it away. Nkunku is slowing play.
