That's it for this match. Thanks for joining Tribe for this coverage. Until next time, this is Sanil Karan signing off.
FCSB came out strong in the second half, aiming to claw their way back into the match, but Rangers effectively slowed the game's tempo in response. The visitors attempted to implement a high press, which inadvertently allowed Vaclav Cerny the space he needed to receive the ball on the right wing, drive into the box, and place a shot around goalkeeper Stefan Tarnovanu for Rangers' third goal. Rangers extended their lead to four when Connor Barron won possession in the visitors' half, setting up Hamza Igamane, who dazzled the FCSB defense with skillful dribbling before firing a low shot into the bottom left corner. Although the hosts continued to press for more goals until the final whistle, they settled for a commanding four goal victory, marking the end of FCSB's perfect start to the league phase.
FCSB almost took an early lead in Glasgow when Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland was dispossessed by David Miculescu, who was about to score into an empty net before the referee called a foul against him. Seizing their reprieve, Rangers quickly responded by scoring the opener through Tom Lawrence, who finished off a cutback from Vaclav Cerny. Despite the early goal boosting their confidence, Rangers appeared vulnerable at the back as FCSB threatened on the counter, but the visitors failed to capitalize on their chances. Rangers eventually doubled their lead just past the half-hour mark when Cerny intercepted a loose ball and struck it into the net from just outside the box, allowing the hosts to regain control and settle into the match.

Barron struggles to maintain possession on the left side of the box, resulting in a turnover that puts Rangers under pressure. Radunovic seizes the opportunity to whip in a low cross, aiming for a teammate in the danger zone. However, Butland reacts quickly, using his feet to clear the ball and avert any immediate threat to his goal.
