That brings an end to our coverage here on Tribe. Many thanks for tuning in and we'll see you next time.
City only had an xG of 0.76, they simply didn't create enough in the final third. So unlike them given the firepower that they have in that area of the pitch. Eddie Howe's men controlled them well defensively and looked threatening when on the ball themselves. Anthony Gordon was a live wire throughout and Newcastle's midfield allowed them to control the tempo of the game for long periods.
Full time at St. James' Park and City have dropped two points away from home. They were lacking in midfield without De Bruyne and Rodri, allowing Newcastle some time on the ball in the middle of the park. Great game of football in the end with both sides having their chances, about the right result given the balance of play.
90+7'
Corner whipped in, headed away at the near post. City regain possession and swing another ball in but it's easily claimed by Pope.
90+6'
City looking for a late killer here as they win a corner. The big men get forward, nervous moments for the home side.
90+5'
SHOT! Haaland in the middle and he pushes off Dan Burn to give him a bit of space. Savinho dinks a cross into him but he can't generate enough power to trouble Nick Pope.
90+2'
WHAT A HIT, WHAT A SAVE! Pass fired into Silva in a central position in the box. Takes a touch, turns and smashes a shot on target. Pope gets a strong right hand on it to palm it behind for a corner.
90+2'
Half a chance opens up for City as Doku gets into some space on the left. Cross played into the middle but Burn heads clear.
90+1'
Into the first of seven additional minutes now as Newcastle apply pressure to City high up the pitch. It's end to end this at the minute, will either side be able to find a winner?
