Thanks for joining Tribe for this coverage. Don’t go anywhere as Crystal Palace v. Everton kicks off very soon. Until next time, this is Sanil Karan signing off.
Forest were far from their best in this encounter but remain in third place in the Premier League. Fulham, on the other hand, moved up to eighth after securing back-to-back impressive wins over Newcastle and now Forest. Fulham will look to extend their momentum when they host Crystal Palace next, while Forest will look to bounce back as they travel to face fellow Champions League chasers Newcastle United.
Fulham came out of the break with renewed energy, and they were soon rewarded for their efforts when Raul Jimenez flicked on a corner at the near right post, allowing Calvin Bassey to steer the ball home into the top right corner for his first goal of the season. The second half saw little in the way of significant chances for Forest, with them struggling to make an impact in the final third, which left little room for optimism about a potential comeback. Callum Hudson-Odoi had a late attempt, but Bernd Leno was equal to the challenge, and that proved to be Forest’s last meaningful chance as their hopes of turning the game around faded away.
Nottingham Forest have been cruising through the season with few setbacks, but today they were caught off guard by a slow start in the capital, ultimately paying the price. Adama Traore, who has been a constant threat to many teams this season, played a pivotal role, breezing past Neco Williams and delivering a pinpoint ball to the far left post, where Emile Smith-Rowe was on hand to head home. Williams, who was struggling to cope with Traore's pace and trickery, was under pressure throughout the first half, setting the stage for a challenging afternoon. Despite their dominance, Fulham could have been further ahead before the half-hour mark when Raul Jimenez’s header was brilliantly denied by Matz Sels. However, Fulham’s inability to convert chances came back to haunt them as Forest equalized just before the break. A clever lofted pass from Morgan Gibbs-White found Chris Wood, who controlled it well and fired home his 18th league goal of the season, bringing Forest level.

Gibbs-White finds Elanga on the right, but the winger's cross is wayward, sailing over everyone and out. It’s been a difficult afternoon for Elanga, who has struggled to make an impact, and the same can be said for Forest as a whole.
90+3'
Forest are struggling to keep up as Fulham dominate possession. The visitors are visibly tiring, with Fulham keeping the ball and slowing the game down, frustrating Forest's attempts to regain control. It's been one-way traffic for the last few minutes as Fulham look to close this one out.
90+2'
Willian picks out Sessegnon on the left with a precise pass. Sessegnon delivers a cross into the box, but Murillo is there to clear it away, cutting off any potential danger.

DOUBLE SAVE! Sessegnon delivers a brilliant cross from the left, finding Willian in space. Willian lays it off for Muniz, who fires a shot at goal, but Sels makes a quick save to deny him. The follow-up is also blocked by Sels, as both efforts lacked the direction needed to beat the goalkeeper. Too straight.
