Semenyo and Kerkez combined nicely for Bournemouth on the left and Scott also made a lively appearance off the bench. For the home side, Mitoma showed his usual flashes of quality on the ball whilst Rutter picked up some great positions in possession and it was his fine pass that set up the winning goal.
BRIGHTON HOLD ON FOR A BIG 3 POINTS! Their strong form continues as they defend a late Bournemouth onslaught. The Cherries got themselves level via a Kluivert wondergoal. He cut in from the left and curled a screamer into the top corner, and was a thorn in the side of Brighton throughout the second half. However, it was substitute Welbeck who came off the bench to finish off a lovely Brighton move with a deft touch around Kepa and into the corner. The closing stages of the match was end to end, as both teams had the chance to add to their tally, plus a penalty shout for Bournemouth thrown in the mix too. Nonetheless, the Seagulls stayed strong and climb up into 8th and level with Bournemouth on 43 points.

A small bit of head tennis ensues after the long free kick from Kepa, before Brighton clear it and we get the final whistle to big cheers from the crowd.

Adams plays a ball into the box from way back near halfway, he is caught late as he plays it. The yellow card it out for Wieffer for the challenge. Another set piece as Bournemouth send everyone up again.

The Brighton keeper is receiving some attention here after taking that catch, no doubt with one eye to slowing the game down as we close in on the final whistle.

HEADER! Everyone including Kepa is up for the corner. The ball is whipped in, and it Kepa himself who gets a head to it, his header balloons up in the air and his compatriot Verbruggen eventually gets off his line and claims it under heavy pressure.
