Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Mohammed Salah’s second-half strike earned Liverpool a share of the spoils at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal; I hope you’ve enjoyed our coverage; I’ve been Rory Morrow and I look forward to seeing you again soon for another live text commentary!
Up Next - League Cup action for both during the week as Arsenal travel to Championship outfit, Preston North End, on Wednesday evening. Liverpool are at the Amex Stadium, facing Brighton on the same night. Then, next Saturday in the league, Arsenal face a tough test, travelling to Newcastle United in the lunchtime encounter. Liverpool, back at Anfield, then host Brighton later that same afternoon.
Liverpool, having trailed twice, will be pleased to retain their unbeaten streak away from home in the Premier League. Their first-half performance wasn't quite at their usual levels, though. Similarly to Arsenal, the defence may feel they could have done better on both goals. Yet, Alexander-Arnold played the killer, incisive pass for the late leveller, showcasing again his talent. Salah, despite a quiet enough game, took his strike in textbook style while goalkeeper, Kelleher, had another solid outing in the ongoing absence of the injured, Alisson. A draw to build on, then, as they settle into second place behind champions, Manchester City, as the Premier League enters into November.
Considering they started without Saliba and ended without Gabriel, Arsenal, on the whole, defended excellently for large spells today. Yet, against a team of Liverpool's quality, the two goals they conceded will irritate them, especially the first coming from a set-piece. Further forwards, Arsenal were full of life and invention, Saka's opener was tremendously taken whilst Martinelli dazzled with the ball at his feet. Partey, a makeshift right-back, did a fine job against Diaz whilst Rice and Merino, both steady in midfield, combined well for the latter's goal. In tricky circumstances, a point perhaps isn't a bad result for The Gunners, here.
HONOURS EVEN AT THE EMIRATES - An extremely entertaining four-goal thriller ends in a draw between Arsenal and Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal led inside nine minutes through a thunderbolt from Saka. Liverpool's captain, van Dijk, replied in turn when he tucked home a Diaz flick-on from a corner to restore parity. Arsenal then came on strong for the rest of the first half, deservedly retaking the lead when Merino met Rice's free kick delivery with a fine header. The loss of defender, Gabriel, forced Arsenal into yet more defensive reshuffling and Liverpool got level for a second time, nine minutes from the end. Nunez setting up Salah for a fine equaliser as it finished with the sides having to settle for a point apiece.

Kelleher goes long from the edge of the box. The ball bounces all the way through to Raya who finds Rice with a short pass. Rice goes left to Trossard on halfway. He looks for Havertz down the line who can't quite keep it in play and Liverpool get the defensive throw-in, on their right.
90+4'
Nunez tugs back Lewis-Skelly as he tries to press the Arsenal substitute. That constitutes a booking in the referee's eyes, so into the book goes Nunez.
