So what can the chasing pack do to take advantage of the dropped points by the league leaders tonight? Stay tuned for the rest of our coverage of live English Premier League action. Bye for now!
POINTS ARE SHARED IN A THRILLER! After both sides took and lost the lead it finally ends in a draw tonight at St James' in what was a fantastic match. Neither side left anything out there as they both pushed until the final moments with a plethora of chances created at either end of the park. Salah again showed why he is one of, if not the best winger in the Premier League and was at the heart of the second half resurgence for the Reds. Alexander-Arnold made his impact of the bench tee-ing Salah up for both of his strikes. It looked like that had taken the wind out of the sails of Newcastle, who themselves had Gordon and Isak to thank for a lot of their promising attacking work. However, a dangerous set piece was delivered to the back post in the dying stages and Kelleher's mistake let Schar in to equalize at the death!
Pope receives a yellow for his protestations to the referee, unhappy that he has blown for the end of the match whilst Newcastle were on the attack.

Liverpool attack down the right but Newcastle make another interception to win possession in midfield and look to release Isak quickly into the space left in behind. The striker receives the ball and starts to dribble at the retreating Gomez before the referee's final whistle brings an end to the attack and this pulsating match!
90+4'
OVER! Isak is over the ball and he tries to curl it up and over the wall but doesn't get enough dip on the ball to keep it under the crossbar.
90+3'
Real intense stuff here now as Newcastle go back down the other end and Guimaraes drives towards the Liverpool box. McAllister battles him for possession but the Brazilian gets round him and draws a foul near the edge of the box in a dangerous area.
90+2'
Liverpool go forward now and put a lot of pressure on Newcastle, working the ball around the box. Salah tees up McAllister who smashes a shot from the edge that cannons into Burn. The Liverpool players are quickly in and around the referee appealing for handball but the Newcastle defender's arm was very close to his body.
