Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Alex Iwobi’s brace helped Fulham to victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Craven Cottage this evening; I hope you’ve enjoyed our coverage; I’ve been Rory Morrow, and I look forward to seeing you again soon for another live text commentary!
Up Next - Both are back in action on Sunday with Fulham hosting Arsenal here whilst Brighton travel to Leicester City at the same time.
Brighton, despite the early concession that they gifted Fulham, played well before half-time with Adingra a constant threat. Pedro struggled to get many clearcut chances but expertly teed up Baleba who took his goal well and was tenacious in the midfield battle. They couldn't hold on, though, when Fulham upped the ante midway through the second half and, ultimately, are made to pay as Fulham's win closes the gap between the two teams to just one point.
Fulham get the win this evening as a strong second half is enough for them to see off Brighton. They were gifted the opener but couldn't increase the lead before Baleba's leveller deflated the mood. Yet, Fulham kept pushing; Marco Silva made proactive substitutions with Traore and Pereira both involved prior to the second goal. Captain, Robinson, excelled at left-back, setting up Iwobi late on and nullifying Adingra well, especially after the break. They'll feel confident as they prepare for the visit of Arsenal this weekend.
FULHAM WIN IT AS IWOBI SHINES - An entertaining encounter at Craven Cottage ends with Fulham taking all three points as two second-half goals in eight minutes prove pivotal. They led inside only four when Iwobi punished Verbruggen for a careless pass out. Adingra, lively in the first half, had chances to level but Brighton did restore parity when Baleba belted an excellent long-range strike past Leno. The Cottagers pushed, though and nosed their way back in front when Pereira's corner went in off the unlucky O'Riley. Iwobi then sealed the victory with a great dribble, pirouette and fine finish to send the home faithful home happy.

CHANCE - Ferguson takes it on, with his right foot. From that distance, it's not a bad effort but the ball still flies off-target, dipping just over the crossbar.

Rutter surges up through the attacking half before being hacked down by Pereira, who goes into the book. Central free kick, 30 yards out. Ferguson and Gruda stand over it...
