Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Daniel Munoz’s injury-time header earned Crystal Palace a dramatic late point against Newcastle United at Selhurst Park; I hope you’ve enjoyed our coverage; I’ve been Rory Morrow, and I look forward to seeing you again soon for another live text commentary!
Up Next - Midweek Premier League action for both sides. On Tuesday night, Palace have a big clash travelling to Portman Road to take on Ipswich Town. The next evening, Newcastle host table topping Liverpool at St James’s Park.
Newcastle will rue not getting a second goal to kill off Palace's hopes. After a stop-start first half, they upped the ante after the interval but only had Guehi's own goal to show for it. Losing Isak to injury deprived them of a clinical finisher despite the many problems Gordon and co posed Palace's defence. A bitter pill for them to swallow but one they'll look to bounce back from in the coming weeks.
Palace, who make it successive draws with that late strike, will be very happy with that spirit to find a leveller. Newcastle were frustrating them well up until that stage, which will make finding an equaliser all the sweeter. Munoz had a terrific game at right wing-back, taking his chance expertly. Sarr was lively throughout and was denied twice by Pope. Guehi, despite his own goal, impressed as he led the backline and produced an assist of quality under pressure.
LATE DRAMA AS IT ENDS LEVEL - A point apiece for Crystal Palace and Newcastle United but Palace will, undoubtedly, be feeling the happier of the two teams, equalising late on to take a share of the spoils! Newcastle led when a cleverly worked free kick routine resulted in an own goal off Guehi. The Magpies could have extended their advantage but failed to find a second. They were made to pay for that late on when Guehi's excellent cross was met by Munoz's header as The Eagles earn themselves a precious point in dramatic circumstances!

MUNOZ LEVELS LATE ON - Selhurst Park erupts as The Eagles equalise in injury time! Lacroix brings the ball forward and with Newcastle backing off, feeds Guehi to his left. Outside the box, Palace's captain wafts over a tantalising cross into the middle. Nobody in Newcastle's defence deals with it and Munoz, gliding in at the back post, plants a brilliant header beyond Pope into the top-left corner from ten yards out!

Guehi, inside the centre circle, finds Devenny to his right. The youngster floats a lofted ball up towards Mateta, on the penalty spot. Burn, though, wins the header, with Livramento completing the clearance from inside his own box.
