The two teams will meet again in just eight days at the Emirates Stadium, but before that, PSV face SC Heerenveen at home in the Eredivisie, while Arsenal travel to Manchester United in the Premier League. Thanks for joining Tribe for today’s Champions League coverage. The UCL action continues tomorrow, and I'll see you then. Goodbye!
Arsenal quickly restored their three-goal lead just over a minute into the second half through Martin Odegaard. Just over a minute later, Leandro Trossard combined with Riccardo Calafiori to lift the ball over Benitez for a second goal. PSV tried to respond, with De Jong's header saved, but Arsenal continued to threaten as Nwaneri’s shot was deflected behind for a corner, which Gabriel then headed off-target. Odegaard then added a fifth after Benitez fumbled his shot, before setting up Calafiori for Arsenal’s seventh.
Arsenal started brightly but were initially denied by an offside call on Declan Rice before he could score. Arsenal had a major scare when David Raya nearly gifted a goal after spilling Ivan Perisic's cross, with Ismael Saibari hitting the crossbar. Arsenal took advantage of PSV's mistakes, with Rice assisting Jurrien Timber for the opener and Myles Lewis-Skelly setting up Ethan Nwaneri for a second. Merino then punished calamitous defending to score Arsenal's third, but a late penalty from Noa Lang, awarded after Thomas Partey fouled Luuk de Jong, gave PSV a lifeline just before halftime.
This tie was supposed to be decided over two legs, but it looks like Arsenal have already secured their place in the quarter-finals with a dominant display, leaving the second leg almost irrelevant. With an entire 90 minutes still left to play, it's clear that PSV have little to show in response to Arsenal's clinical performance. Three goals in the first half, four in the second period. Arsenal have well and truly thrashed PSV in their own back yard. The Gunners' commanding lead means they will likely be resting key players for the return fixture, having already sealed their progression in this round.

Bakayoko picks out Karsdorp in space on the right, but as he tries to advance, he is caught offside. The linesman raises his flag, halting PSV's progress. It's another frustrating moment for the Dutch side. They won't want to remember this day.

Raya launches a long free kick from the right into the box, but PSV manage to clear it away. However, Arsenal quickly regain possession and continue to control the tempo of the game. The Gunners are looking composed and patient, keeping the ball and waiting for another opening.

Malacia, clearly frustrated by the lack of options, lunges into White on the left flank, committing a foul. The referee has no hesitation in showing him a yellow card for the reckless challenge. It's been a tough second half for PSV, and that tackle sums up their frustration.
