If the first half was a largely drab affair, the second 45 minutes was anything but! Plenty to unpack, but the key theme of the afternoon was one of near misses for Manchester United, and one very inspired goalkeeper for Arsenal. Trailing at the break, Mikel Arteta's Gunners pushed for a leveller and it eventually came 16 minutes from time, Declan Rice arrowing a shot into the far corner beyond Andre Onana. From that point on, you expected the visitors to kick on, but the opposite was perhaps more true. United had a chance to steal three points at the death, goalscorer Fernandes unable to make it a double for the afternoon as David Raya came to Arsenal's rescue - not for the first time! Overall, it proves to be more dropped points for Arsenal and another step in the right direction for Ruben Amorim and his troops. The performance of debutant Ayden Heaven will be a real positive for the United boss, who continues to navigate the run-in before an expected summer rebuild ensues.

GREAT SAVE! Old Trafford, as one, groans in disbelief! And once again, it's Raya who comes to Arsenal's rescue! Mazraoui's low cutback from the right-hand side of the box breaks for Fernandes of all people near the penalty spot. He hits his effort hard and true, but Raya is equal to the shot! Time stands still momentarily as the ball loops towards the Arsenal goal with plenty of spin, but Raya leaps back to his feet in a flash and claws the ball away with United players bearing down on goal.

HUGE MISS! The offside flag spares Martinelli's blushes! Trossard slide a ball into a central area for Odegaard, whose low, first-time drive is pushed away by Onana, who dived down to his right to stop the shot from finding the corner. The rebound breaks for Martinelli, who was stood in an offside position when the shot came in, and the Brazilian blazes his effort high over the bar.

CLOSE! Lindelof strides forward with intent then plays the ball into the path of Garnacho, who looks to work a sight of goal for himself as he approaches the edge of the box. In the end, he declines the option of a team-mate to his left and sends a weak-footed effort just over the bar.

After a sweeping passage of play from right to left, Collyer fires in a low cross towards the near post and Hojlund tries to turn it goalwards, only to see the long leg of Gabriel in the right place to divert the shot behind for a corner.
