Sydney dominated parts of that first half but the game turned on it's head late in the first half with the sending off of goalkeeper Harrison Devenish-Meares who went in hard and late on Kuol outside his penalty area. After going down in the second half, Klimala showed some class to tie things back up but it was another strike from Kuol that put Sydney on the backfoot again. They had a few good chances late but weren't able to find the net as the Mariners shut up shop. Caceres was their best on show. The midfielder was excellent while Grant showed plenty of ability in defence. They head home to take on Western United next weekend.
Central Coast showed plenty of quality across the park this evening with Kuol having a great night. Doka was exceptional through the midfield with his creations, while Mauragis and Roux were able to show their speed wide. Peraic-Cullen made a couple of outstanding saves throughout the match to keep Sydney at bay. The Mariners will take plenty of confidence from this evening and that may just be a turning point in their season as Adelaide come to town in the next round.
The Mariners go back to back with A-League wins and get their first home win of the season! It was an intense evening at times in the rain in Gosford but the Mariners come away with the points thanks to some quality finishing from Kuol in front of goal who netted a beauty of a double!

We are past the alloted added time as Sydney attack down the right with Lolley again! Feijao does really well to link with McCalmont and win the turn over! Sydney manage to get a boot in there as Kaltack drops it over the top! There is a foul on Steele in the midfield and the final whistle goes!

Sydney bring it forward on halfway with Popovic and Caceres. They move it left. Back across to the right with Lolley getting to the outside. Turns inside and delivers into the box! Turned away but King has a go from the edge of the box! Roux gets in the way to deflect it away!

The free kick from deep comes in towards the top of the box. Headed away by the Mariners as Feijao then slices another ball out of play. Roux manages to hack a loose ball up the middle! Redmayne has to come forward again and send it back through the middle.

Peraic-Cullen takes his time before sending another ball up the middle. Headed forward and out of play by the Mariners. Sydney shift it back to the left as they drive forward with Lolley. He tries to create outside the box but is quickly shut down. Manages to win the foul as he is checked by Steele 20 yards outside the box.

SHOT! Late change for the Mariners as Kuol is pulled and replaced by Ngor. Sydney have to throw it back towards halfway! King drives forward in the middle! Floats a lovely ball towards the back post! Popovic goes up and glances it over the cage!
