Fiji delivered a dominant performance to defeat Japan by 21 points and book their place in the Vancouver 7s final. After losing to Japan in the pool stage, Fiji came out with intent, using their physicality and fast-paced attack to take control early. They ran in four well-worked tries, showcasing their trademark offloading game and punishing Japan’s defensive lapses. Japan struggled to match Fiji’s intensity but managed to score a consolation try late in the game. In the end, Fiji’s power and precision proved too much, securing a commanding victory and a shot at the title.
