TEAM NEWS: Moana Pasifika - Seven changes have been made to the starting side that suffered a 15-point defeat to the Chiefs. In the forward pack, Tito Tuipulotu gets the nod at loosehead prop ahead of Abraham Pole, with Feleti Sae-Ta'ufo'ou starting at tighthead in place of Sione Mafileo. Sam Slade replaces the experienced Tom Savage at lock, while a reshuffle in the loose forwards sees Miracle Fai'ilagi move from openside to blindside flanker, Semisi Paea slot onto the openside, and Ardie Savea return to skipper the side from No. 8. That sees Ola Tauelangi and Semisi Tupou Ta'eiloa make way. In the backs, Solomon Alaimalo replaces Kyren Taumoefolau on the left wing and Tevita Ofa gets the nod ahead of Losi Filipo on the right. Alamanda Motuga and Jackson Garden-Bachop are the new faces on the bench.
TEAM NEWS: Crusaders - Seven changes have been made to the starting side after thumping the Blues by 23 points at Eden Park. Up front, George Bower starts ahead of Tamaiti Williams at loosehead prop, while Jamie Hannah replaces Antonio Shalfoon in the second row. All Black Ethan Blackadder comes back onto the openside flank, replacing Tom Christie, with Fletcher Anderson slotting into the boot of the scrum in place of Christian Lio-Willie. Noah Hotham and James O'Connor form a new 9-10 combination, replacing Kyle Preston and Taha Kemara, with the final change seeing Macca Springer replace Sevu Reece on the left wing. New faces on the bench include Codie Taylor, Xavier Saifoloi, Mitchell Drummond, and Rivez Reihana.
