On that happy thought, we're going to end there. Thank you so much for joining us today for Leicester City vs Fulham. Still want more Premier League action? You're in luck; Arsenal vs Aston Villa starts in about 20 minutes. I'll see you there!
You worry for Van Nistelrooy, you really do. 7 losses in a row in the league (18 goals conceded, 2 scored), his substitutions seemed to make the team worse somehow, and the fans turned on him in a big way after he took off El Khannouss, their brightest player. Their next matches are: away to Spurs, away to Everton, away to Man Utd (FA Cup), home to Arsenal. This could get worse for the Foxes. They end the day in 19th place.
Fulham see out the game and take home the 3 points. I said it earlier but it really was a complete away performance, not giving Leicester a sniff of anything after the 1st minute. Better possession (62%-38%), better numbers (583 passes - 380, 17 shots - 8), better team really. They only had 2 shots on target but they were from a combined distance of about 16 yards. Fulham end the day in 9th place, leapfrogging Brighton.

The effort is always going over, and that'll be that.

Cairney is running right through the middle of midfield and dribbles past a helpless tackle. He goes round Faes, who trips him 20 yards out. Yellow card.

Fulham are almost in again, after some good play between King and Robinson down the left flank, but the cross into the box is too hard. Traore manages to control it and cut inside on the edge of the box, crossing to the back post, but it's behind for a goal kick.

Fulham happy to see things out now, bringing on fresh legs to get them over the line.
