That brings an end to our coverage here on Tribe. Many thanks for tuning in and see you next time.
So Liverpool will go into the international break on top of the table no matter the results today. They've got a difficult run of fixtures after the break and will be overjoyed by the platform they've given themselves.
Alisson had to go off injured which will be extremely concerning for the league leaders. They're without regular backup Kelleher as well but Jaros stood up well today to see out this game. How big a loss will Alisson be? We'll soon find out over the next few weeks. He looks distraught on the sideline.
The final whistle goes and Liverpool hold on for a 1-0 win. They extend their lead at the top of the table to four points with Arsenal and City still to play today. Palace will be disappointed that they didn't get the equaliser but they just couldn't find a way to consistently apply pressure to what is a robust Liverpool defence.

Gakpo wins a corner and that might just do it for the away side. They'll take their time over this corner now and work it right down.
90+5'
Criminal from Sarr as he's penalised for a foul throw. Jeers from the Liverpool crowd, this will take another 30 seconds at least off the clock.
90+3'
Cries for a rolling ball as Hughes takes a quick free kick. Hooper waves play on though and a lovely pass is slipped into Mateta. Jaros was quick off his line though and he wins the race to the ball. Great goalkeeping.
90+3'
Liverpool taking every second they can off the clock with every dead ball situation. Good game management in earnest, despite the protestations from the home crowd.

Jota has been slipped in behind after making Guehi go the wrong way with a clever move. Looks to pass it back inside to Diaz who is alone in the middle. Blocked out for a throw in the end. Jota wasteful once more. Even though he's on the scoresheet, he's been off his game for the majority of the game. On another day he could have a hat trick, maybe more!
