Full-Time: 3 - 1
That wraps up our coverage from the Emirates. Many thanks for tuning in and we'll see you next time. This is Elliott Johns signing off.
Credit to Southampton in that second half. They really went for it, giving Arsenal a big scare before continuing to apply pressure in the late stages. Their defence just couldn't hold on though, with Arsenal's attacking substitutions proving crucial today.
Two strange games for Arsenal in two weeks. They've got 6 points from it so there's no harm done, but they've not been nearly as comfortable as you would expect. They're not at their best at the moment but the sign of a great team is the ability to win even when playing poorly.
Two assists and a goal from Bukayo Saka gives Arsenal all three points at the Emirates. It wasn't a straightforward victory by any means. Southampton took the lead in the second half but it took Havertz a matter of minutes to hit back. A superb goal from the German before an inch perfect pass to Martinelli gave Arsenal the lead a couple of minutes later. Saka then put the icing on the cake, getting himself on the scoresheet with a collected finish into the bottom corner.
90+9'
Just under a minute remaining now as Southampton try a final attack to pull one back. Desperate cross into Onuachu but he's outmuscled by the Arsenal centre halves. Trossard passes up to Havertz who launches it upfield and away from danger.
90+7'
Trossard carries it forward through the middle and again has Martinelli down the left. Too much on the pass though and the squared ball back inside is easily cut out by Ramsdale.
90+6'
The corner finds Gabriel at the back post but his headed effort is off the mark. Goal kick to restart.
90+5'
Long ball down the left for Martinelli to get on the end of. Trossard and Saka arriving in the box but the cutback is turned behind for a corner.
90+4'
Superb from Havertz to keep possession close to the left flank. Receives the plaudits of the crowd as Arsenal spread it around defence.
