That is all we have for you from Goodison Park. Thanks for tuning into Tribe's Premier League coverage. Until next time, I'm Dan Gread signing off.
It will be a disappointing outing for Chelsea. They lacked the final touches up front and could take advantage of the chances they had in the first half. Fernandez and Sancho had strong games linking up the left but they weren't able to find a way past the stowic Everton defence. They will remain second on the ladder and head home to take on Fulham in their next match.
For the home side, it is a valuable point in a congested bottom half of the ladder. Young had a brilliant game at the back for Everton while Doucoure, Harrison and Ndiaye were strong through the middle. The change of Lindstrom was important as he gave the Chelsea defence plenty to think about late in the game. A trip to Mancester awaits Everton as they take on City in their next clash.
Goalless at Goodison as both sides share the points this afternoon. It was a scrappy match at times with both sides having few chances in front of goal. Everton had a couple of quality chances in the second half with Harrison and Mangala just coming up short of the targets.

Messy at the back in the corner from Chelsea but they come away with it. Palmer moves it on in midfield as they look right. Back into the middle as Fernandez finds Sancho heading into the corner! Good tackle from Lindstrom as he slides it clear for a throw in. That will do it! Points for both teams!

Just the two minutes of stoppage time as Chelsea come back through the middle. Madueke is clipped from behind in the challenge of Gusto and Everton get the free kick just inside their half. Pickford is forward to take it, sending it into the right corner. Blows over the sideline in front of Lindstrom.

Everton win a throw in down the left edge over halfway. Worked back for Branthwaite. Long ball over the top with Disasi managing to win the throw in just in front of Ndiaye. Chelsea send it forward through Caicedo but there it too much on it again as Pickford gets the hands around it at the top of the box.

Working the left this time are Chelsea as Gusto takes it back to the right for Caicedo outside the box. Driven in by Madueke but not a real threat for Pickford who controls it easily at the near post. Takes his time and sends it skyward as it holds up in the stiff breeze.
