Both Colombia and Brazil have progressed from Group D after sharing the spoils in a quality final Copa America group stage match. Make sure you join me again on Tribe in a couple of days, as the quarter-finals get underway with a clash between Argentina and Ecuador. It's been a pleasure bringing you all the action from this wonderful affair in San Jose. For now, Harrison Ryburn signing out.
Colombia, as group winners, now move onto face Panama in the quarter-finals in Arizona. Nestor Lorenzo's side will be havily favoured to get through that, but they'll have to be wary of the danger their opponents possess going forward. Brazil, meanwhile, have a much tougher task against Uruguay in their quarter-final in Las Vegas. That shapes as a Copa America blockbuster between another of South America's powerhouses, and is an occasion not to miss.
Again a slightly underwhelming performance from Brazil. They really brought the tempo early on, catching out their opponents with the speed and quality of play they were able to put together out wide. The goal was a welcome reward for it, but they seemingly took their foot of the gas slighlty, allowing Colombia to build and ultimately dictate the rest of the game. Vinicius Jr went missing up top once more, whilst Rodrygo didn't have much of say in the game either. Their persistence to play out from the back got them into trouble too, losing possession as Colombia completelty smothered them with their high press. The point is enough for them to secure progression, but this Brazilian side remain unconvincing, and questions still remain around their title credentials.
Another impressive performance and result for Colombia, who on another day would have probably come away with the three points. They were slightly slow to start, but once they found their groove, took control of the midfield and frustrated Brazil. Their aggressive high press continually forced errrors, and allowed them to pin the Selecao back inside their own half for extended periods, particuarly in that second half. Nestor Lorenzo's side created the chances to win it too, with Sanchez seeing a goal in the first half disallowed for offside, and Borre missing a glorious opportunity late on from close range. They extend their unbeaten result to 26, and with James Rodriguez, Davinson Sanchez, and Luis Diaz all impressing again, they look a real chance of ending their Copa America drought and lifting a first continental title since 2001.
Fulltime in San Jose and it finishes all square between Colombia and Brazil, following a contest of incredible quality. Raphinha brought it to life with one of the goals of the tournament from a direct free kick early on, before Colombia levelled it up just before the break with Daniel Munoz. Los Cafeteros were the better side in the second half, but they couldn't find a winner as both sides settled for a share of the points. The final result means both sides progress to the quarter-finals, with Colombia now 26 games unbeaten in finishing atop Group D, whilst Brazil join them as runners-up.

SAVE! Almost a dramatic late goal for Brazil! Savio pushes back down the right flank this time, before cutting inside and laying it off for Perieira at the top of the box. The latter hits it first-time on his right foot and powers a delicious effort towards the top of the net. Vargas comes up with a brilliant save to tip it away over the crossbar though, and that will be enough for Colombia to wrap up top spot in the group.
90+3'
Brazil steal possession and immediately send it forward for Vinicius to chase in-behind the opposition defence. He finds himself one-on-one with Vargas, but Cuestas does brilliantly to cover ground and track all the way back, throwing his body in the way to win back possession and defuse the danger.
90+2'
Sinisterra shows off a few silky skills to beat a couple of defenders in midfield, before sending the ball wide for Mojica on the left. The latter links up with Uribe in support, who wins a free kick with a push in the back from Endrick.
90+1'
Into five minutes of added time we go, and Vargas launches the goal kick long up towards the opposition box. It doesn't fall for Borre, but Marquinhos is forced into a clearance and Colombia end up with a throw on halfway.
