Paris Saint-Germain breathed new life into their UEFA Champions League campaign with a commanding away victory over Red Bull Salzburg. The first half saw PSG dominate possession and break the deadlock through Goncalo Ramos, who scored with a neat finish after a precise header down from Hakimi. Salzburg struggled to deal with PSG’s fluid attack and were unable to respond to the early pressure from the French giants. In the second half, PSG continued to control the game, keeping Salzburg at bay with their disciplined play. Nuno Mendes doubled the lead with a powerful strike, capping a fine individual performance. Salzburg made a few late changes to try and disrupt PSG’s rhythm, but it was Desire Doue who put the game to bed with a cool finish into the top left corner, sealing a crucial away win for PSG.

Daghim intercepts the ball in midfield and plays it forward to Kawamura on the left. Kawamura crosses into the box for Daghim, but his effort goes straight into the arms of Donnarumma. It’s a wasted opportunity for Salzburg to threaten PSG’s defense with the last play.

Kang-In stands over the corner from the right, delivering a ball towards the near right post. Neves meets it with his head but sends his effort well wide of the right post. It was a chance that should have been converted into a more threatening attempt on goal for PSG.

Kang-In dribbles down the right wing and looks for Hakimi inside the right of the box, but Dedic reads the play well and intercepts the pass. PSG continue to push forward, but their final ball lacks accuracy in this phase of play.

They’re focused on controlling the tempo and frustrating Salzburg’s attempts to regain possession. The emphasis now is on solidifying their lead and conserving energy for the final minutes.
