That is all we have time for on Tribe as Qatar are the Asian Cup Champions yet again thanks to a hat-trick of penalties from Afif. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me throughout a hectic final. Make sure you stay tuned with us on Tribe for more football as Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United kick-off shortly.
Jordan though deserve all the credit in the world for even reaching the final after they were one of the most out of form sides going into the tournament so even though there are lots of tears now they can look back on their efforts with huge pride.
Afif was the best player throughout the game by a distance but after his penalty in the first half Jordan slowly but surely got into the game. In the second half they managed to grab an equaliser through Yazan Al-Naimat and they were looking like the most likley team to score a winner. That was until just six minutes later when VAR intervened and recommended a penalty for Qatar again due to a foul from Al Mardhi. Then it was VAR again who stepped in to give Qatar another spot-kick in the late stages of injury time as the onfield decision was offside. Even though it was VAR dominated the referees done well throughout as the decisions were certainly correct and due to that it is Qatar's name getting put on the Asian Cup yet again!
QATAR ARE BACK-TO-BACK ASIAN CUP CHAMPIONS! Qatar will be getting their hands on the trophy yet again as their players collapse to the floor in relief before quickly running over to Afif to launch him up in the air after his hat-trick in the final. Three penalties from the star man has got Qatar over the line against Jordan who were hoping to go all the way against all the odds but it was not to be for them.

Barsham goes into the book for time wasting as we are now just seconds away surely from the final whistle.

Qatar clear the ball up the pitch as their fans jeer the referee for the final whistle. Everyone on the bench is up on their feet but Qatar have a corner to defend which they do. Yet still they wait for the final whistle.

Jordan now look lost on the ball as they know this has gotten away from them due to three penalties. They try to make another chance through Al-Taamari but his volleyed cross into Haddad is headed out for a corner.

Ali Assadalla goes into the book for a late challenge in the middle of the pitch. He looks bemused but it was a clear arm in the face.
