That is all we have time for on Tribe for this Asian Cup group game as Australia take the win over India. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. If you want to carry on getting your football fix go and check out our coverage of the Premier League with Chelsea and Fulham live right now.
Australia now of course sit top of Group B on three points and Inida are now bottom. The next game in that group is on later today as Uzbekistan take on Syria which will give India some insight into whether they have a real chance of getting through or not. Australia will certainly still be considered heavy favourites to top the group after that win.
India defended really strongly throughout but they were just unable to get on the ball in dangerous positions enough to cause Australia trouble. Anytime they tried to go long on the counter as well Souttar was there being imperious as he so often is for Australia. However, it was his error which presented India with a massive chance to take the lead in the first half through Chhetri but he headed wide which he will be kicking himself about later. India showed they have a strong enough defence to compete but in their next group game against Uzbekistan, they have to show more attacking nuance.
AUSTRALIA GET OFF TO A WINNING START IN THE ASIAN CUP! Two goals in the second half have given Australia a good but not perfect start to their Asian Cup campaign. They struggled to open up India in the first half who defended with pride throughout. The Socceroos got the opener through a mistake by Gurpreet in goal for India as he presented the ball to Irvine for a simple goal. The changes from Arnold made a big difference which he will be happy about as McGree and Bos linked up for the second goal which put the game to bed.

CHANCE! Australia win the ball in India's box with Fornaroli. He has two shots which are blocked by the defence then Irvine comes in and has an attempt blocked. It eventually comes out to Behich on the left who fires the ball well over the bar.

The first yellow card of the game goes to Vikram after a late challenge on McGree who let out a shout of pain but he is ok to carry on.

India try to counter as a hopeful ball is played up to Vikram but Souttar shows his pace to come across and get there before him. The defender then goes down winning a free-kick as Australia just run down the clock here.
