That is all we have time for on Tribe as Australia eases through to the quarter-final against Indonesia. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Make sure you tune in with us on Tribe throughout the day for FA Cup fourth-round action.
Australia are quietly getting the job done and will be backing themselves to go all the way now they have reached the quarter-final stage. Their first massive test will come up though next as they will face either Saudi Arabia or South Korea who were both in the World Cup with them back in 2022. That is set to be a great match to see who can make the last four.
Indonesia started the game well and had the first big chance with Struick flicking it over the bar but they couldn't really carry that on as Australia slowly but surely picked them off. Rowles and Souttar at the back are an intimidating duo and unfortunately for Indonesia, they could never really get their attacking players out of their grasp. Nevertheless, this is a historic moment for the country as it was the first time they have ever played in the round of 16 of the Asian Cup and in large parts they did well against Australia with the scoreline flattering them a little bit. So there are a lot of positives to take for the nation and something to build on for future tournaments.
AUSTRALIA BOOK THEIR PLACE INTO THE QUARTER-FINALS! The Socceroos are the first nation to make it through to the quarter-final of the Asian Cup after their comfortable win over Indonesia. They needed a bit of luck in the first half as they opened the scoring due to an own goal from Baggott who tried to block Irvine's cross but inadvertently put it past his goalkeeper. Just before the half-time interval Boyle then doubled their lead to knock the stuffing out of Indonesia. They controlled the game excellently in the second-half and then Goodwin came on to score one before then making one for fan favourite Souttar to get his first goal of the tournament.

Struick is fouled in his own half and he reacts poorly by pushing Irvine over. So he goes into the book before the emotions start to boil over.

HARRY SOUTTAR FINALLY GETS HIS GOAL! Goodwin puts in a lovely delivery with his left foot from the right flank. His cross is right on Ari and Souttar gets there ahead of him to nod the ball home to get his fist goal of the tournament. What an impact Goodwin has made!
