That wraps things up from this one, but thanks for joining us. This is Ryan Nixon (@NewYorkNixon) signing off.
Overall, it'll be Western Sydney who are most disappointed to only earn a single point, but regardless of the Roar time wasting tactics, the Wanderers simply couldn't generate the chances they needed to in the second half. Brandon Borrello was excellent in the first half, while Nicolas Milanovic, Gabriel Cleur, Josh Brillante and Zachary Sapsford helped create some bright moments on attack. For the Roar, Lucas Herrington had a debut to be proud of alongside the strong Ben Warland, while Jay O'Shea and Walid Shour toiled hard in midfield, and Thomas Waddingham made the most of limited chances up top.
So points shared, but after a wonderfully entertaining first half, this game fizzled out terribly in the second half as things got stop start, with Roar players going down like flies with cramp, and then a whole heap of time wasting settling into the game late on. It resulted in a rather frustrating fixture to watch, and in the end neither side could manage to find themselves a winner. The Wanderers had looked sharp in the first half, and Brandon Borrello's double had twice put them in front. However, a pair of defensive lapses enabled the Roar to twice level, and in the second half the home side couldn't create the opportunities as the Roar sat deeper. Indeed, it was Brisbane who came closest to snatching the points, with Thomas Waddingham and Jacob Brazete forcing a double save from Lawrence Thomas late on.

We're beyond the allotted time, but the game continues with the Wanderers attacking. Temelkovski fires a ball on target, but Freke claims despite a wee juggle. He then cops a little whack from Priestman, and opts to go back to floor to chew up a bit more time.

Cleur tries to press high, but ends up blocking a clearance for a goal kick. Freke has now gone down inside his area, but referee Elder isn't buying it and tells him to get up to take the goal kick.
90+6'
A late corner for the Wanderers, but nothing comes of it as there's a tangle inside the area. Roar clear for a throw.
90+5'
A pair of late changes for the home side, with two goal star Borrello among those leaving.
