Scotland will be mightily relieved as they held off a frenetic second half comeback by Wales to win 26-27 at Principality Stadium - their first win in the Welsh capital in 22 years. Leading 0-20 at halftime, Scotland extended their lead to 27 points when Finn Russell sliced into a hole from a kick return before he unloaded to Duhan van der Merwe who sprinted away for his second try. At that stage it appeared Scotland were odds on for a huge win but Wales found a way back into the contest when James Botham scored from a rolling maul. Scotland's discipline went downhill as both George Turner and Sione Tuipulotu both spent 10-minute stints in the sin bin which gave Wales a leg up as they edged closer with tries to Rio Dyer and Aaron Wainwright either side of the hour mark. Alex Mann scored the bonus point try for Wales with 12 minutes remaining to close the gap to one but Scotland managed to hold on to secure a famous win.
