South Africa fought back from a 12-point deficit to book their spot in the Final with a 12-19 win over Spain. After Zain Davids gave them a lifeline just before halftime, the Blitzboks went up a few gears in the second half as they blinding pace of Shilton van Wyk helped them level the scores soon after the resumption. Tristan Leyds then slipped through from a well-worked scrum play in the 11th to put the home side in front. Spain had their chances to level in the dying stages but a late error by Noah Canepa proved costly.
