Argentina will be absolutely delighted to have three in a row now from the last three SVNS rounds in the 2024-25 series, and that puts them back into the lead ahead of Fiji on the men's table as we head to the final round in Singapore next weekend! A well deserved win given their current 16-match winning streak that remains intact since the pool phase of the Perth SVNS!
Argentina were relentless on attack in the second half, stringing the phases together and spreading it around well to find gaps in the French defence to run into. Their defence was also excellent, putting huge pressure on Les Bleus on the odd occasion they were able to get their hands on the ball as Los Pumas got themselves over the breakdowns to force some key turnovers and penalties.
It was a massive first half with no score at the break, but Argentina with a huge second half put two on the board in the space of two minutes to burst into the lead. France found themselves on the backfoot in the second half, under huge pressure from a rampaging Argentinian attack, and only really got their hands on the ball in the final moments when it was too late for them to snatch the game back.

Conversion

Back infield for Timo who gets into the red zone before offloading to Sepho who makes another couple of metres. Infield through the hands, and it's Arfeuil who finds some space and dots it down under the posts as the gong sounds! It's too late from France, but they are on the board!

Try

France tap and go and spread it out to the left wing where Desert drives up into contact. Back on the inside, and Artaud with the offload out the back that opens things up for Sepho to burst to halfway! Back on the inside and Garcia with the basketball pass over the top to Desert who makes it almost to the 22!

Lineout set up inside the 22. Free kick to France as that's waaaay too long from Pellandini who is just wasting time now..
