A final congratulations to Ireland as I wrap things up here. They're deserved winners and should celebrate accordingly tonight. That's all from here at Tribe for this one. This is Elliott Johns signing off.
It was a bit unimaginative from Ireland at times and they struggled to consistently break down the Scottish defence. They fronted up a bit more in the second half but will feel that they left the 22 with nothing on far too many occasions. Scotland to their credit were resolute and strict with their game plan. They executed it well but just not well enough to win themselves a triple crown.
Zombie rings around the stadium as the celebrations begin. A sense of relief, perhaps a bit of regret as well after that one point loss to England last week. Nonetheless though, Ireland are the Six Nations Champions for 2024! Back to back winners and their record of consecutive home victories goes on.

Ireland wind the clock down through the phases following the scrum. Back tyo Lowe who kicks it out and that will be that! Ireland win the Six Nations!

Scotland threaten ever so slightly from deep inside their own half but knock it on and that may signal the end of the Scotland fightback. Before the scrum, the referee informs the captains that Byrne's yellow card will remain a yellow with the degree of danger being relatively low. Not that it will matter overly though, Byrne is off for the remainder either way.

Russell pops over the extra two from straight in front.

JONES GIVES SCOTLAND HOPE! Good run to burst through a tackle and he's away. Has the pace and skill to fend away the final defender and he runs it in under the posts.
