That's all we have for this one. Stay with Tribe for plenty more Rugby action. This is Anthony Morgan signing off.
Wales head to Twickenham for a tough encounter with England next weekend. Scotland will host France at Murrayfield to open Round 2 in the earlier Saturday clash.
The difference between Wales' first and second half displays was vast. In the first they seemed intent on kicking wherever possible but in the second they played with high tempo and looked to shift it from side to side which caused Scotland plenty of headaches. Tomos Williams and Ioan Lloyd brought plenty of impact off the bench to turn the match on its head while in the pack Tommy Reffell was Wales' best throughout.
Finn Russell was the architect of Scotland's win as he had a key hand in each of Duhan van der Merwe's two tries whilst also landing a perfect 5/5 from the tee. Ben White took control of Scotland's exits as he consistently found good yardage with his touch finders. Sione Tuipulotu and Kyle Rowe were other strong performers in the backline while up front George Turner and Luke Crosbie were heavily involved.
Scotland will be mightily relieved as they held off a frenetic second half comeback by Wales to win 26-27 at Principality Stadium - their first win in the Welsh capital in 22 years. Leading 0-20 at halftime, Scotland extended their lead to 27 points when Finn Russell sliced into a hole from a kick return before he unloaded to Duhan van der Merwe who sprinted away for his second try. At that stage it appeared Scotland were odds on for a huge win but Wales found a way back into the contest when James Botham scored from a rolling maul. Scotland's discipline went downhill as both George Turner and Sione Tuipulotu both spent 10-minute stints in the sin bin which gave Wales a leg up as they edged closer with tries to Rio Dyer and Aaron Wainwright either side of the hour mark. Alex Mann scored the bonus point try for Wales with 12 minutes remaining to close the gap to one but Scotland managed to hold on to secure a famous win.
80+2'
SCOTLAND HOLD ON! Van der Merwe slammed the ball down on Dyer's outstretched leg and it failed to reach the grass. Time is up so that will be fulltime. Scotland hold on in an epic clash!
80+1'
Scotland hammer away through their forwards inside the 5m. Hepburn has a crack for the line on the 10th phase. With time up on the clock, Horne zips off to the right before Van der Merwe claims he has the ball down on the line. The referee sends it upstairs as No Try with the TMO to confirm.
80'
Scotland swing it left from the scrum where Steyn bursts into a hole on a 30m run up towards the 5m where he is cut down.
79'
Both front rows go down. We will have a reset. More important seconds drip away off the clock.
