The Reds take clean possession from the lineout and get their maul surging forward a few metres. Uru and Asiata take carries but are stopped in their tracks before the Reds are awarded a penalty for a high tackle. Campbell finds touch 6m out. 

Vest takes the lineout as the Reds get their maul surging forward within 10m of the line. It is brought down illegally by Tonga and the Reds will get the penalty. Campbell finds touch 5m out. 

The Reds are awarded a free kick against the feed and they swing it wide right to Anderson who zips up towards the 22m. Finau puts in a strong shot in the midfield but Tonga are penalised for offside. Aubrey finds touch 18m out. 

The teams have made their way out onto the field. Before kickoff we will have the respective National Anthems of Australia and Tonga followed by the Tongan 'Sipi Tau'.

It was a powerful second half by the Reds as they piled on 22 unanswered points to cruise past Tonga 14-41 in Nuku'alofa. Leading 14-19 at halftime, the Reds continued to play up tempo rugby in deplorable conditions. A steady build up was followed by a shift left to Mac Grealy who burst into space and threw a crisp inside pass for Tim Ryan to score in the 48th minute. Richie Asiata scored from a rolling maul to extend the lead to 19 points in the 62nd before Seru Uru was the beneficiary of some sharp hands as he scored the final try with eight minutes remaining. A penalty goal to Mason Gordon completed the scoring in the final minute which secured a 27-point win for the Queenslanders.

Fa'agase takes it up towards the 22m where the advantage is ruled to be over as the Reds knock on in contact. 

Vest takes the lineout as the Reds work it into the midfield where Pakeho takes a carry. Brial makes an error in contact as Tonga hack it ahead over halfway. There is no advantage forthcoming so 'Ikale Tahi will have the scrum 27m out from their line. 

Werchon's conversion attempt bounces back off the right upright from the right touchline. 

RYAN EXTENDS THE LEAD! The Reds hammer through a few phases in their forwards before Brial powers up towards the 22m. After a few more phases, Queensland swing it wide to the left where Grealy bursts down the touchline and fires a crisp pass inside to Ryan who dives over to score the Reds' fourth try. 

Brial and Asiata take runs in the midfield as the Reds work it up to the 22m through Canham. Campbell slices into a hole and is cut down 10m out before Pakeho is stopped in his tracks on the left. Queensland are awarded a penalty several phases later for offside. Campbell finds touch 5m out. 

It has been a tough start to the International season for Tonga after they suffered back to back defeats at home to Italy and Spain. While they were blown away 36-14 by the Azzurri, Tonga would have been disappointed with their performance in their 29-20 defeat to Spain, who were ranked three spots below 'Ikale Tahi in the World rankings. After two below par showings coach Tevita Tu'ifua has made wholesale changes for this afternoon's clash with the Reds, where Tonga will be looking to find a winning formula ahead of next month's Pacific Nations Cup. 

THE REDS TAKE THE LEAD! Uru takes the lineout as the Reds get their maul rumbling forward towards the goal line. Asiata dives for the line but is stopped illegally which leaves the referee no option but to award a Penalty Try to the Reds. 

Ma'asi opts for a high kick this time where Akauola gets up in the aerial contest but knocks on attempting to regather. Queensland with the scrum 27m out from their line. 

Welcome to Tribe's coverage of the International Rugby clash between Tonga and the Queensland Reds from Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku'alofa. I am Anthony Morgan and I will have all the action for you.

TEAM NEWS: Reds - Les Kiss has named his lineup to play Tonga, featuring just two changes to the starting side from the team that faced Wales. In the front row, Sef Fa'agase and Richie Asiata retain their positions, while Massimo De Lutiis replaces Jeffrey Toomaga-Allen at tighthead prop. The remainder of the forward pack is unchanged after a tight tussle with the Welsh. In the backline, Louis Werchon continues at scrum-half, paired with James O'Connor at fly-half. Lachie Anderson takes over from Floyd Aubrey on the right wing, with Jock Campbell set to captain the side once again from fullback. The bench sees the inclusion of Feleti Kaitu'u as a replacement hooker, while Taine Roiri is added to cover the back row. Floyd Aubrey moves to the bench to cover the outside backs.

Tonga take down the restart inside their 22m before Nai shifts it back to Ma'asi who clears to touch just outside the 22m.

Pulini goes deep from the restart as the Reds kick deep downfield. A kicking duel ensues before Pulini brings it back into contact on his 10m line where he is penalised for not releasing. Campbell finds touch 15m out. 

Pulini goes deep to the left with the restart where Brial spills it forward into touch. Tonga with the lineout 20m out. 

Inisi takes it off the back of the scrum and powers up towards the 22m. Ma'asi clears downfield straight to Aubrey who sends Grealy back on a weaving run up to the 22m. An error by Fa'agase on the next phase gifts Tonga the scrum feed in the middle of the park.

ASIATA SCORES FROM THE MAUL! Uru takes the lineout as the Reds' maul veers across field initially. It eventually starts moving forward before Asiata peels off and dives over to score.

The pre-match festivities have been completed and we are almost set to get underway in torrential conditions in Nuku'alofa. David Vosalevu is the referee this afternoon. 

Aniseko overthrows the lineout and in the scramble for the ball on the ground a double knock on is ruled. The first is from Tonga so the Reds will have the scrum 9m short of halfway. 

Both front rows go straight down. We will reset. 

Queensland win the lineout against the throw and shift it into the midfield where Campbell spills an ordinary low pass. Tonga with the scrum 28m out from their line. 

Gordon lands the penalty from 15m out and just to the left of the posts. 

Koloamatangi produces a strong shove in the scrum where the Reds are penalised for angling in. Pulini finds touch on the 22m. 

The Reds are awarded a penalty after Koloamatangi goes straight down on the loosehead side. Campbell finds touch 17m out. 

The Reds got solid momentum in their maul and a Penalty Try on the stroke of halftime swung the match their way. In the second half, Richie Asiata added a further try via that source to push Queensland out to a comfortable lead. Seru Uru was powerful with his carries all afternoon and was a standout along with Louis Werchon who distributed well at halfback. Mac Grealy made some nice breaks on the wing, one of which laid on a try for Tim Ryan early in the second half. 

Tonga get off to the worst possible start to the second half as Ma'asi puts the kickoff out on the full to the left. The Reds with the scrum on halfway. 

TEAM NEWS: Tonga - Tonga has named their lineup to play the Reds, featuring some notable changes from the team that played Spain. Tau Koloamatangi continues in the front row, joined by Solomone Aniseko and Brandon Televave, the latter replacing Ben Tameifuna. Kelemete Finau comes in for Adam Coleman, partnering with Matani Puloka in the second row. Sione Hifo and Sione Takai are new additions to the back row, with Lotu Inisi retaining his spot at number eight. In the backline, Siaosi Nai and Semisi Ma'asi form the new halfback pairing, replacing Manu Paea and James Faiva. Latu 'Akauola takes over on the wing from Hosea Saumaki, while Nikolai Foliaki replaces Malakai Fekitoa at inside centre. Esau Filimoehala is a new addition on the other wing, and Samuel Tu'itupou takes over at fullback from Telusa Veainu. The bench sees the inclusion of Sefo Sakalia, Bradley Leuila, and Vaka Pole'o, with Kaufononga Tausinga and Penisimani Pifeleti providing additional forward cover. Manu Paea, who was previously starting, moves to the bench, joined by Tyler Pulini and Paea Vakameilalo.

'IKALE TAHI HIT STRAIGHT BACK! Tonga go deep with the restart where Brial brings it strongly back into contact outside the 22m. A shift to the left goes awry for the Reds as a pass hits the deck. Filimoehala picks up the loose ball and cuts back off his right foot past two defenders and he slices past two more to score under the sticks. 

The throw from Asiata is ruled not straight as it veers down the Queensland side to Bryant. Tonga with the scrum just short of halfway. 

Smith takes down the lineout as the Reds maul is contained this time. Brial takes a carry towards the posts and pops an offload to Werchon who bobbles it forward into a Tongan defender 5m out. 

Tonga take down the restart outside their 22m before an errant pass forces them back near their goal line. 'Ikale Tahi get numbers behind the ball before Nai clears to touch on his 22m. 

Queensland win the lineout against the throw and shift it through the hands to the right where an error is made on the ground. Tonga with the scrum 28m out from their line. 

Fa'agase and Uru have cracks near the posts where Tonga are penalised for side entry at the ruck. Takai is the culprit and has been sent to the sin bin. The Reds opt for the scrum 5m out under the horns. 

On the other side of the coin, the Reds would have been proud of their efforts in their 36-35 defeat to Wales last week. Despite missing several first choice players, the Queenslanders proved their mettle against International opposition after they fought back from a 17-point deficit in the second half to take a late four-point lead. While Wales would ultimately steal the win with a final-minute try to Kieran Hardy, the Reds brought plenty to the contest with Richie Asiata crossing for three tries while Mac Grealy scored two. Both will be key figures again this afternoon alongside James O'Connor and Jock Campbell who provide plenty of experience in a youthful Reds' outfit.

Campbell gets us underway with a deep kickoff to the left that bounces into touch 18m out from the Tongan line. 'Ikale Tahi tap back the lineout but it is knocked on on the ground. Queensland with the scrum 10m out. 

Nai shifts it to the short side from the scrum where Filimoehala cuts back off his right foot and is tackled. He is penalised for holding on and the Reds put it back into touch 5m out. 

The Reds get their maul rumbling towards the line where 'Ikale Tahi does well to stop it just short of the line. The ball is unable to be released on the ground and Tonga is awarded the scrum feed. 

O'Connor converts from just to the left of the posts. 

FA'AGASE HITS BACK! The Reds tap back the lineout against the throw as Bryant and Uru take carries towards the posts. Pakeho takes a run before Asiata is stopped near the posts. Queensland recycle quickly as Fa'agase dives over to score next to the post pad. 

The Reds dive on the loose ball and work it to the right before Asiata takes a carry into contact. Tonga rush up in defence as Uru and Grealy find space on the outside. O'Connor makes a break through the middle and kicks ahead into the 22m where Tonga clear well through Tu'itupou just over halfway. 

The Reds fumble it backwards from the lineout before Toomaga-Allen and Asiata take runs inside the 5m. Queensland work it to the right where Tonga are penalised for a high tackle. Werchon puts it into touch 5m out. 

Uru taps back the lineout against the throw as Cartwright is scragged back a few metres. The Reds are awarded a penalty for offside and Campbell finds touch 34m out. 

Tonga tap back the lineout and work it into contact 15m out from their line. Pulini clears under pressure into touch 20m short of halfway. 

Werchon converts from just to the left of the posts.

Tonga shift it right from the scrum where the Reds' defence jams in. Pakeho is penalised for a high shot on Tu'itupou and Tonga find touch 47m out. 

Tonga clean up near the 10m line before they hammer it forward through Tapueluelu. Pifeleti takes it back inside the 22m where the Reds are penalised for a tackle off the ball. Pulini finds touch 10m out. 

The Reds surge forward inside the 22m before Canham takes a carry 15m out. Cartwright attempts to sneak through but is stopped before Vest is tackled 10m out. Tonga are penalised at the breakdown and Gordon will shoot for goal from close range. 

Brial takes it into contact from the restart as the Reds shift it to Uru who pops an offload in the midfield. Grealy finds space down the left and puts in a kick that finds Tu'itupou who kicks deep downfield. A kicking duel ensues before Tonga spill possession near halfway. 

Tonga lose possession in the lineout as the Reds break out with a shift through the hands to the left. Aubrey surges inside the Tongan 22m before the Reds hammer away with a few phases in the forwards. Tapueluelu gets over the ball at the breakdown and wins 'Ikale Tahi a relieving penalty for holding on. Pulini slices his kick into touch just outside the 22m.

Pulini puts in a low kick down to Gordon who is tackled 5m short of halfway. The Reds keep the ball alive before Vest powers inside 40m. Kaitu'u takes a run before Aubrey slices past one tackle and offloads near the 22m. 

The Reds work it back over their 10m line before they attempt to swing it wide to the left. An error near the touchline gifts Tonga the scrum 42m out. 

Werchon attempts a trick shot from the scrum as he pops a chip into the in-goal that just goes dead. Tonga with the 22m dropout. 

Seru Uru and Joe Brial were standouts in the pack for the Reds with several strong carries while out wide Mac Grealy found some space on the left wing. Tonga were led in the pack by Lotu Inisi who went on a solid 20m run early before he was driven over to score the first try several phases later. Samuel Tu'itupou and Semisi Ma'asi both kicked well in general play. 

Tonga fumble it backwards in the midfield as Ma'asi dives on the loose ball. They work through a few phases before Ma'asi puts in a high kick to Grealy, who passes it off to Campbell who slices his clearing kick into touch 10m short of halfway. 

Leuila powers forward inside 15m as Tonga work through the phases. Inisi shows good leg drive before Paea's pass is fumbled backwards by Foliaki. 

Both sides engage early. We will have a reset. 

Brial takes a solid carry in the midfield as the Reds work it inside 15m. Uru combines with O'Connor who is cut down by Foliaki before Queensland swing it wide to the left where Grealey is bundled into touch near the corner. 

Inisi takes a strong tackle-busting run inside the 22m before he pops an offload to Aniseko who is brought down 10m out. Tonga hammer away near the posts through Foliaki before Aniseko takes another carry. 

Tonga brought plenty to the contest in the first half with tries to Lotu Inisi and Esau Filimoehala but they were much less effective in the second half as the Reds dominated the field position. Inisi was a standout at No.8 with a number of strong carries while in the backs John Tapueluelu and Samuel Tu'itupou had some nice moments.

Ma'asi fumbles backwards as Tonga clean up 15m out from their line. Nai kicks down to Grealy who brings it back into contact 35m out. 

Ma'asi kicks deep down the middle of the park as Aubrey surges back into contact near halfway. The Reds hammer away through Uru and Fa'agase before Aubrey makes an unforced error. Tonga with the scrum 2m short of halfway. 

Queensland shift it into the midfield where Ryan takes a direct carry. The Reds find space down the left before De Lutiis is tackled 10m out. Bryant works it up to the 5m on the 10th phase as the Reds continue to hammer away under penalty advantage. 

Werchon converts from 12m in from the left touchline. 

Tonga go deep with the restart where Campbell kicks deep to Tu'itupou who sprints back near halfway and puts a in a chip kick that is claimed by the Reds. Gordon then puts in a nice kick that bounces into touch 22m out. 

Ma'asi kicks straight to Anderson who brings it back into contact over halfway. The Reds shift it left to Campbell who makes a mini break up towards the Tonga 10m line where he is cut down by Nai. An error on the ground gifts 'Ikale Tahi the scrum 7m short of halfway. 

The Reds produce a huge eight man shove in the scrum and are awarded a penalty for angling in. O'Connor finds touch 40m out. 

The Reds lose it forward in the lineout as Tonga shift it into the midfield where they rush a kick downfield. There is no advantage so 'Ikale Tahi will have the scrum feed on their 5m. 

O'Connor's conversion attempt veers out to the left from 7m in from the right touchline. 

BRIAL POWERS OVER! Brial takes it off the back of the scrum and surges towards the line. Vest has a crack with a pick and go but is denied before Brial bursts through one tackle and powers over to score out wide. 

The Reds go into halftime with a 14-19 lead over Tonga after a competitive opening 40 minutes in Nuku'alofa. 'Ikale Tahi opened the scoring in the sixth minute when Lotu Inisi was driven over to score under the posts after a patient build up. The Reds hit back in the 10th minute when Sef Fa'agase burrowed over to score next to the posts after some solid lead up play. Sione Takai was sent to the sin bin in the 28th minute and the Reds struck almost immediately from the 5m scrum with Joe Brial crashing over out wide. Tonga hit back straight away when Esau Filimoehala pounced on an error and beat a handful of defenders on an angled run to score under the posts in the 32nd minute. A powerful rolling maul on the stroke of halftime helped the Reds retake the lead through a Penalty Try after Richie Asiata was stopped illegally from close range. 

The Reds are awarded a penalty after Televave goes down on the tighthead side. O'Connor fails to find touch from the penalty but Tu'itupou puts his kick out on the full so Queensland will have the scrum 48m out. 

URU GOES OVER! The Reds continue to roll forward in possession as they work it inside the 5m. They then shift it with slick hands to the right where an unmarked Uru 'swan dives' over to score in the corner.
