Breakdown turn over from South Africa and they put it away! A foot race down the right side but Davids has too much pace after getting the ball on halfway and is in for the try! 

Australia in the line out over the back! Dowling comes up with it and looks to spin free approaching the 22! He gives away the penalty though for not releasing! South Africa call for the scrum just outside the 22. 

A wild finish but Australia win it and book a place in the Final on Australia Day! Fantastic second half from Australia and they came up big in Extra Time with a great run into the corner for Ekanayake! They will take on Argentina a little later on this evening. 

South Africa tap and go! They have an overlap with a man down for Australia back inside the 22! Davids keeps it alive on the right edge and gets the ball outside for Brown! He has the try line in sight but Blake does brilliant work to win force the man into touch five short of the line! 

Blake and Dowling link on the right edge as Australia come over halfway off the back of the penalty. They cough it up though as South Africa walk over the top of it! PACE FROM DAVIDS!

Longbottom fakes left and goes out the back on the right with Blake on the 22! Bounce pass back into the middle! South Africa try to bring a loose ball in but it has been grassed! 

The conversion is well away to the left from the right side. 

Davids bangs it forward coming off the scrum! Back towards halfway go South Africa. They are driven back as they are caught behind the advantage line. Oosthuizen is back over halfway. Great shot from Dowling to put in down! South Africa keep it alive moving it to the right but Australia keep with them. 

Australia move it left from the scrum and away inside the 22 with Longbottom and Blake again! High tackle against South Africa as the hosts tap and go inside the 22!

Australia get up and win the kick off! They move it back to the left with Harvey. He is hit hard outside the 22 but the ball spits out for Longbottom! Another penalty for the hosts! This one is a better angle but just outside the 22. Hutchison is down on the far side and has to head to the sideline. Australia tap and go. 

South Africa beat Fiji 19 to nil in an entertaining quarter final yesterday while the hosts, Australia, beat France 24-12 in a quality performance to book their place in the final four. While South Africa will certainly be motivated with this match being a semi-final, it would be extra special at home if the Australians were to book their place in the final later on this evening.

TRY TIME! Tap and go from Australia! They go down the left edge with Hutchison and Icely! He is cut down just short of the line! They work the ball back to the right and Turner gets to the outside and goes in at the right corner post!

Australia bring down the restart and get another penalty. They kick for touch up the left and get a line up back near halfway on the left edge. 

Australia kick for touch up the left off the back of the penalty. The line out sets on teh South Africa 10 metre line. 

Both sides are out there and we are all set to go!

Australia work the right from the scrum on the 22 but they look for the switch play back to the left! The ball is loose and hacked through! Hutchison has to go back to halfway and dives on it! Davids goes to ground  on him and gives away the penalty. 

Duarttee feeds the scrum for South Africa on their 10. They head away to the right! Loose ball and picked up by Australia! High tackle against South Africa and the hosts get a penalty on the 22! They are taking the shot at goal from wide out. 

Blake goes across field getting a ball off the line out and works it forward on halfway. Back to the right with Turner getting to the outside! Turns the jets on and is downed on the SA 22! Keeps it alive as they go back to the right! Switch play back infield but there is an obstruction as SA get the penalty! 

Hutchison dives forward for the ball on the restart but the penalty goes the way of South Africa on the Australian 22! They set a scrum in midfield.

Low and left from Longbottom! Extra time it is!

TIED UP! Australia come down the right with Longbottom! Off the knees of the man outside but kept alive! Back inside with a quick ball at close range and Harvey goes over!

South Africa kick down the left. Back inside the 22 is Harvey and he gets away from the first couple before getting crunched! Dalton hangs onto a ball near halfway. Back to the left they go with Hutchison cutting back through the middle! Longbottom finds the space! 

Australia kick off up the right. Off the hands of Ekanayake as he goes up to grab it. Forward is the call and South Africa will set a scrum with time almost up in normal time. 

Over thrown by Longbottom but it bounces for Australia. Good fend and run from Blake over the South African 10. They work the right edge but are thrown in touch with some great South African defending! 

THE YOUNG MAN WINS IT! Australia go back to the right inside the 22 and it is Ekanayake who skips to the outside with the ball in one hand and dots it down in the corner to send Australia into the Final! 

STRIAGHT BACK! South Africa bring down the kick off this time and work the ball back to the right with Davids! Finds the space! Goes straight through! Works the one two with Brown on the outside as he gets the ball back and goes in right of the bar! 

We are all locked up and have a cracker of a game on our hands! South Africa have looked the better team with the ball in hand but Australia have hung on in defence by the skin of their teeth! It is still anyones game in the second half as both sides try to book a place in the final against Argentina!

Back underway as South Africa go up the right on the restart. Australia go up but put it down! It is a penalty for Australia though as South Africa came in dangerously taking Dowling out in the air! Tap and go! 

Australia throw to the line out near their line but it is over the top! South Africa dive on it near the line but Australia get the penalty! Brilliant work again from Gonzalez! Tapped and put in touch! 

We are heading to Extra Time! Australia managed a try late to tie things up with Longbottom having a chance to win it but clattering the ball into the posts at close range! Let's see who is going to make the final! 

South Africa go to the short side on the right! Hutchison with the brilliant steal on the 22! Australia shift it on the bounce pass for Turner on the right as he rolls out near the 10 metre line. South Africa crowd the space but Sargeant has some space back outside the 22. He gets the penalty call as South Africa are closing the ball off! 

We are underway! Sargeant goes high and South Africa lose the kick off in the air! Knock on is the call and we will have an Aussie scrum early on the 22!

Oosthuizen is put in the bin as the loose ball on the South African 10 is scooped up by Longbottom and he trips him!
