Australia put two good tries on the board before halftime, adding another after the break along with a penalty, all while keeping the USA scoreless. That puts the Aussies through to the medal matches at the Olympics for the very first time!

Great win for Australia! They were absolutely brutal on both attack and defence, barely allowing the USA any ball and even less so in their half of the pitch. They put in some huge tackles to force loose ball from the Eagles, and were excellent on defence at the breakdowns to force turnover ball and penalties to prevent the USA from being able to do anything with the limited possession they had.

No extras from out on the right, but it won't matter!
