That's all we have for this one. Stay with Tribe for the clash between Ireland and Scotland which gets underway shortly in Dublin. This is Anthony Morgan signing off.
Wales will be very disappointed to finish winless in the Six Nations for the first time since 2003. They looked rudderless on attack for much of the contest as the Italian defence forced them into error either in contact or at the breakdown. Mason Grady brought impact off the bench with a number of strong carries in the midfield before he deservedly streaked away for a late consolation try.
Italy were easily the better side throughout the majority of the match with the final three-point margin somewhat flattering to Wales. Ignacio Brex was strong in the midfield and he along with Michele Lamaro were like men possessed at the breakdown as they Azzurri claimed a number of penalties via that source. Tommaso Menoncello added plenty of impact on defence while out wide Monty Ioane and Lorenzo Pani showed how potent they are as they combined for a brilliant long range try. With two wins and a draw against France in this year's Six Nations, Italy will be delighted with their efforts.
Wales flew home with two tries in the closing stages but it wasn't enough as Italy held on four a deserved 21-24 win in Cardiff. Leading 0-11 at halftime, Italy extended their lead to 18 points in the 46th minute when Monty Ioane sliced into a hole to set up Lorenzo Pani who finished a cracking long range try. Wales worked their way into the contest and were given a lifeline when Elliot Dee was awarded a barge over try with 16 minutes left. Two penalties by Paolo Garbisi pushed Italy to safety before Will Rowlands and Mason Grady crossed for tries in the final two minutes to narrow the margin to three points.

WALES SCORE ANOTHER BUT IT IS TOO LITTLE TOO LATE! Wales work it outside their 22m through Grady before the ball spits out of the ruck. Lloyd beats two defenders before Grady pops in a chip over the top towards halfway. Grady gets to the ball first as he hacks it ahead before he streaks away to score under the posts.
