That brings to an end another thrilling Women's Six Nations with England claiming their sixth straight and 20th title overall. Stay with Tribe for plenty more Women's Rugby action as the USA and Canada kickoff the Pacific Four Series in Los Angeles tomorrow. This is Anthony Morgan signing off.
France hung tough in the second half after they lost tighthead prop to a yellow card that was upgraded to red for a dangerous cleanout on Morwenna Talling in the 45th minute. Pauline Bourdon was at her dangerous sniping best around the ruck while in the midfield Gabrielle Vernier kept the England defence on high alert with her speed.
Alex Matthews was a standout for England with a tireless display at No.8. Matthews was reliable in the lineouts and was a persistent threat at the breakdown where she claimed multiple turnovers. If Matthews was the pick of the forwards then Holly Aitchison was the best of the backs as she nailed 6/6 at goal and she kicked well in general play. Megan Jones was strong on defence in the midfield and claimed an important intercept try in the first half.
England did the damage on the scoreboard in the first half before they clung on in a scrappy second period to beat France 21-42 in Bordeaux. The 21-point win was the Red Roses' fifth bonus point victory from as many outings this season as they secured their sixth consecutive Women's Six Nations title in dominant fashion. With seven tries scored between the sides in the first half, the second ended up being a dour affair as France broke a 30-minute scoring drought when Marine Menager went over for her second try with 10 minutes to go. Any hopes France had of getting back into the contest were thwarted three minutes later when Connie Powell tipped it onto Alex Matthews who sliced through the hole to score the match sealer.

Powell's throw veers down the England line and is called not straight. France opt for the lineout 35m out.

Menager finds space down the right touchline and offloads inside to Jacquet. France then work it back inside 15m as Queyroi goes on a searching run back against the grain. She ran behind multiple teammates and is penalised for obstruction. Aitchison finds touch 17m short of halfway.

MAYWEMBE IS HELD UP! France take clean possession from the lineout and eventually get their maul rumbling towards the line. Escudero goes to ground short of the line before desperate defence by Ward and Lucy Packer holds Mwayembe up over the line. England with the goal line dropout.
