France will regroup this week before facing USA next Saturday in Langley. The USA suffered a huge loss to a dominant English side earlier today, so both teams will be hungry to chalk up a win in WXV1. Canada will face Ireland and will feel pretty confident about picking up a win, before their sternest test of the tournament to date against England in a fortnight.
Canada will be very pleased with that performance, rewriting the record books with it being their biggest-ever score against France, surpassing the 36 points they put on them in 2019. France did pull close after halftime with a try to Bourdon, before Royer hit back for Canada. Konde kept it close again as France kept within a converted try, but it was all Canada after that as they pulled away to close the game out in emphatic fashion.

They win the throw and try to attack in midfield, but a messy pass sees Canada counterruck and begin their attack 10m from the goal line. It goes left to Crossley, now 4m short. They continue to try down the left edge, with pick and go.

Canada win their lineout and maul it upfield, making 10m before a darting move down the right wing. Hogan-Rochester makes good metres, 10m short of the French 22. Canada come back to midfield, then look right once again, nearing the 22. They run out of space, and are bundled into touch. French lineout just outside their 22.
