It's a huge win for Australia, but they have a tougher task coming up next weekend when they host the Black Ferns at Ballymore in Brisbane.
Australia did the hard yards up front and in the midfield, earning the right to go wide and finishing beautifully up the wide channels. Desiree Miller becomes just the second player to ever score four tries in a test match for Australia, showcasing just how dangerous the home side was out on the wing. They also scored a couple of tries off the back of their rolling mauls, putting Fijiana under enormous pressure once the pack got rolling.
Australia's biggest issue today was their handling, with quite a few forward passes, a more than a handful of knocks, and a couple of passes that landed in touch. Those wasted opportunities could well have made for an even less flattering scoreline for Fijiana. The home side looked strong in the set pieces for the most part, capitalising on a few messy lineouts from the visitors and getting onto the front foot on a couple of occasions at scrum time as well. Both their set pieces did drop off a little towards the end though, leaving a couple of opportunities out on the pitch.
It was Fijiana who drew first blood, but their 13th minute try was their one and only score of the night as the Wallaroos proceeded to pile a whopping 10 tries onto their end of the scoreboard to take a massive win, and what a statement to make with their first win of the season! Once they got their first on the board the momentum shifted drastically, and while the visitors did manage to get their hands on the ball again during the match they never looked even close to getting more points on the board.

And the icing on the cake as Cramer adds the extras from out on the left wing!

Australia want more! Into the left corner for the lineout! Maul formed, and it's another huge drive from the Wallaroos to force their way through the defensive line to get O'Gorman over for another!

Deep restart onto Australia who send it to the left wing for Miller who bursts away again! She's halfway up the 22 before she's pulled down, and Fijiana pinged on the floor!
