Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Scotland's summer tour continued with another win, this time, over the USA. They go on to face Chile and Uruguay next. For now, though, I've been Rory Morrow and I look forward to bringing you another live text commentary here on Tribe again very soon!
SUCCESSIVE WINS FOR SCOTLAND - Scotland make it two wins from two in their summer test series as the USA are beaten in Washington! Six tries in total for the Scots, four in the first half, as they followed up a win over Canada with another victory here. Van der Merwe made history by equalling Stuart Hogg's all-time try-scoring tally (one more means van der Merwe will claim that record outright) before an Ashman brace put Scotland firmly in control. Boni then got over for the hosts, who were down to fourteen after Ainuu was sin-binned, with Ashman's third try the final act of the first half. A scrappier second period in slippy conditions and humid weather saw Scotland add two further tries through Horne and Fagerson as Gregor Townsend's men professionally closed the match out.

Dobie feeds. The USA win a free-kick which MacGinty taps quickly, feeding McVeigh to his left. He almost wriggles over but is just held up by some desperate Scottish defending.

Pifeleti darts off the back of the maul formed from his lineout throw. 5m out and right, The USA work the ball centrally as MacGinty finds Boni again who goes to winger, Mooneyham who's closed down by Steyn wide left. The hosts had another penalty advantage, though, which McVeigh taps quickly but Pifeleti spills the ball to give Scotland a defensive scrum.

McVeigh, on for his international debut, feeds the USA scrum. He gets it out well, feeding MacGinty centrally. Try scorer, Boni charges into contact where he's held up by Rowe but the referee brings play back for a USA penalty. MacGinty kicks it deep into touch.

Scotland have the ball again, this time back on halfway. Ritchie carries forward before Dobie knocks on to give the USA a scrum on the left side of their 40m line.
75'
Thompson, 12m out and slightly right of the sticks, pops the conversion over.

FAGERSON NOTCHES NUMBER SIX - Dorie feeds a rampant Scottish scrum with the ball being expertly controlled by Darge's feet. The flanker lays it into the path of Fagerson, right behind him, who does well to collect and dot down the sixth try for Gregor Townsend's side!
