Thanks for tuning into Tribe's coverage of this Pacific Nations Cup match. Until next time, I'm Dan Gread saying goodbye for now.
Canada did plenty of good work throughout that match but were unable to find the try line at important times. After being down at the break, they found a way over the line with McMullin cutting through to narrow the gap! They couldn't get there though as they were shut out by Tonga in those final 10 minutes. Nelson was good from first five, while Coats and Coe had strong games out the back. Up front, Flesch was perfect in the line out while Quattrin had a good game across the park. Plenty of positives to take forward for Canada.
It was very much the Pellegrini show for Tonga. The first five was all over the place at times, leading his side around the park with an excellent kicking game. Up front, Mataele, Inisi and Moala had big games which kept them on the front foot at times. Tapueluelu was brilliant on the wing, as he dotted down for a double.
Tonga take out 5th spot in the Pacific Nations Cup for 2024 off the back of a quality performance in Tokyo this afternoon. They had to dig deep in that second half and were able to put Canada away close the match out.

THAT WILL DO IT! Tonga put on the massive scrum again and swing the ball away to the left! Getting to the outside is Taupueluelu and he coasts into the corner for his second off the back of a lovely long ball from Unga!

Paea feeds the scrum and Tonga monster the Canadians! An attacking kick from Pellegrini towards Taupueluelu who brings it down 10 short of the line but is taken in a good tackle! They move a ball back towards the right edge and Pellegrini is smoked in the tackle! They come back to the middle of the park as Canada are offside. Scrum called 10 out from the line.
