A great way for Ireland to start their Six Nations title defence, as they prove to be too strong for a valiant French side in Marseille. Next up for France is Scotland in Edinburgh, while Ireland's next match is against Italy at Aviva Stadium in Dublin. That is all we have for this one, thanks for tuning into Tribe's coverage of the Six Nations!
Led by their young first-five, Jack Crowley, Ireland took over in the second spell and suffocated France out of the game. Already down to 14 men courtesy of a Willemse red card, Les Blues had a battle on their hands and ultimately couldn't keep up with the Irish, who crossed for second half tries through Nash, Sheehan, and Kelleher. A Gabrillagues try for France in the 53rd minute had the home crowd roaring, but Ireland silenced them soon after with tries of their own.
Absolutely clinical from Ireland! France are left shell-shocked as the Irish have come to Marseille and done a job on the home side to run away with the comprehensive five-tries-to-two victory. From the outset it was clear that Ireland came to play, starting with a hiss and a roar to shoot out to an early 14-point lead. Penaud's late first half try made it a 7 point game at halftime, before Ireland came out in the second half and completed a shut out of the French!

Jalibert kicks for touch and finds it 5m out, in what will be the final play of the match. Woki spills the ball in the contest, so Ireland bang it into touch to bring an end to this one!

Short restart is secured by Ireland, and they look to wind the clock down through their forwards as they pick and go. Alldritt gets over the ball, though, and wins the penalty for France!

Crowley sends the kick straight over the black dot from left touch to complete this Irish performance!

EMPHATIC FROM IRELAND!!! Ireland secure the lineout and the maul is set, driving towards the line! France defend well initially, before Ireland get a roll on and Kelleher dives over to score in the left corner! Ireland are unstoppable!
