Thanks for joining me here on Tribe as Scotland started their summer tour with a stylish, eleven-try win over Canada in Ottawa. For now, though, I've been Rory Morrow and I look forward to bringing you another live text commentary here on Tribe very soon!
Canada host Romania next in a week's time and they'll look to build on the positives from today. They frequently got into really promising attacking positions only to lose a lineout or knock on. Their discipline also didn't help them in that regard, giving Scotland a couple of easy exits on occasion. Baillie was promising at lock, though and they will look forward to facing Romania next weekend.
A really good start, then, for Scotland. Head Coach, Gregor Townsend will surely be delighted with how his debutants fared. After going 5-0 down early on, Scotland scored 73 and conceded only 7 points in the aftermath of Rumball's try. Full-back Paterson impressed as he set up several tries whilst wingers, Dobie and Reed dazzled with their speedy footwork and razor-sharp finishing. With the USA up next on Friday, the Scots can head into that fixture full of confidence.
SCOTLAND START THEIR SUMMER SERIES IN STYLE - A big win for Scotland as they run in eleven tries to beat Canada and commence their summer tour series with an emphatic win! Bayliss, a Richardson double and one from Reed before half-time had cancelled out Rumball's early score for Canada. In the second half, Scotland showed no mercy as scrum-half Warr (one of ten debutants) doubled up with two tries, Reed got his second whilst Paterson, McDowell, Dobie and Steyn all also crossed the whitewash with Thompson and Healy converting nine of their eleven kicks at goal. Baillie crossed for Canada's second in-between Scotland's scores but it was to prove no more than a consolation try.

Canada are penalised for not releasing at the breakdown. Scotland get the penalty inside their own 22 which Healy thumps to touch on the right-hand side.
