That is all we have for you from Sydney this evening. Thanks for tuning into Tribe's International Rugby coverage. Until next time, I'm Dan Gread saying goodbye for now.
A win and two losses for Georgia in the July Internationals. The win over the Japan is the standout but the performance they put on on the park this evening will certainly turn some heads! The star was Tabutsadze who showed a speedy turn of pace to find his way over for a double. Matkava was excellent from fly half, while Karkadze was solid up front. They now have a long break before taking on Italy in November.
The Wallabies were too good this evening but were put through their paces at times as they had to counter a strong Georgian pack and speed out wide. The loose forward trio of Valetini, McReight and Wilson were brilliant for the Wallabies and were the stars of the show up fornt! Donaldson was up and down with his kicking but had a solid game taking the ball to the line. McDermott was excellent at halfback and will give Joe Schmidt plenty to think about before they take on South Africa in the first game of the Rugby Championship in Brisbane in three weeks time.
Georgia came out of the blocks firing in the second half and took full advantage of the overlap with tries to Niniashvili and a try from the end of the earth from Tabutsadze! That got the Georgians back to within two points of the Wallabies who were able to show their class late and pull away in the final 20 to get the job done and go three from thre in the Joe Schmidt era.
Plenty of heart from Georgia in the second half but it isn't enough to get over the line and the Wallabies take the spoils at Allianz 40-29!
80+1'
White feeds the scrum and the Wallabies get the free kick for too much early weight from Georgia. White taps and puts it to touch! That will do us!
80'
Into the final minute as Georgia are continuing to attack with it inside the 22. They get the penalty for the offside! Abzhandadze has kicked it dead in goal looking for touch on the right edge! Australia will have time for the scrum in midfield 10 out from their line.
79'
Georgia bring down the line out and move it into the middle with Niniashvili injecting into the line! Hodgman is there and drives them back on the 22! Georgia are slow to clear it in the ruck and get the advantage as Australia are offside once more.
78'
Georgia find touch just 10 metres out from the line up the right flank. They bring down the line out and look to get the drive going towards the line! Australia counter and Georgia have to move it on into the middle with Tapladze! Matkava on the left hs his pass picked by Wright and the Wallabies have it close to their line. White goes over the top into touch just past the 22.
