Hernandez then shifts the ball to the onrushing Guendouzi, who takes a moment to set himself before unleashing a beautifully curled shot. The effort flies straight into the bottom left corner.

After suffering defeats to Italy and Belgium in their opening Nations League matches, facing France was a daunting prospect for Israel. France quickly asserted their dominance by taking the lead within the first ten minutes, capitalizing on a mistake from goalkeeper Omri Glazer, who fumbled Eduardo Camavinga's shot into the net. However, against the odds in Hungary, Israel equalized with Oscar Gloukh's precise delivery headed home by Omri Gandelman, marking his first international goal. Yet, Israel's confidence proved short-lived as Christopher Nkunku swiftly restored France's lead just five minutes later, skillfully navigating through the defense and finishing past Glazer.

HOWLER FROM THE KEEPER! Kounde surges forward down the right and picks out Dembele with a well-timed pass. Dembele lofts a chipped cross into the box, which is only half-cleared, falling to Muani on the left. Muani quickly feeds the ball inside to Camavinga, who decides to take a shot from distance aimed at the bottom left corner. Glazer initially appears to have it covered but fails to control the ball, allowing it to go over him and roll into the net. A poor mistake from the keeper, and it's clearly his fault.

ISRAEL TEAM NEWS: Israel have lost a couple of troops to injury since naming their squad, as captain Eli Dasa and young forward Dor Turgeman have both been forced to pull out. There has also been confusion surrounding the status of Tottenham Hotspur loanee at Leeds Manor Solomon who was called up to the squad despite missing their' last four games with a hamstring problem. Although, he hasn’t been named in the squad today. His absence spells good news for highly-rated Red Bull Salzburg starlet Oscar Gloukh, who gets to start in his place.

WIDE! Olise takes possession on the left and sends in a cross, but it’s blocked and deflected out for a corner. Dembele steps up to deliver the corner kick, and Israel struggle to clear their lines amidst the pressure from the French attackers. The ball eventually drops to Camavinga just outside the box, but he rushes his shot, sending it well wide of the left post.

Dembele takes the resulting free kick and aims it towards the near left post, hoping to catch the defense off guard. However, the Israeli defenders remain alert and manage to deal with the threat efficiently, clearing the ball away from danger.

Abu Fani tries to catch France off guard with a long ball aimed at Baribo on the right. However, the pass has too much pace on it, and Baribo is unable to keep up, allowing it to roll out of play. 

Camavinga sends the ball to Kounde on the right, who looks to dribble past his marker. However, Gandelman stands firm, showcasing his strength and determination as he successfully dispossesses Kounde.

Olise threads a pass to Dembele inside the left of the box, where he attempts to get a shot off. However, his effort is blocked and deflected out of play for a corner. Olise steps up to take the corner from the right, but his delivery fails to trouble the defense, and the chance fizzles out.

BARCOLA ADDS THE FIFTH! France launch a rapid counterattack down the right flank, and Guendouzi is perfectly positioned to receive the ball in midfield. With composure and vision, he spots Barcola making a run into the left side of the box and delivers a precise pass. Barcola then takes a moment to compose himself before expertly placing the ball into the top right corner, adding another goal to France's tally and showcasing his finishing ability.

Olise picks out Dembele on the right with a precise pass, and Dembele skillfully cuts inside past a defender. However, his attempted pass into the box lacks accuracy, allowing Nachmias to read the play and intercept with ease.

Israel's coordinated press in the midfield wins possession, with Abu Fani intercepting a pass. The subsequent counter-attack, however, lacks cohesion, and France regain control.

In a tactical move, Israel make their first double substitution, bringing off goalscorer Gandelman, who played a crucial role in their earlier equalizer. In his place, Peretz enters the fray, hoping to make a significant impact as the game progresses. Alongside Gandelman, Baribo also makes way for Khalaili, who steps into the attacking role, adding fresh legs.

It's a bit of a ping-pong battle in midfield as both teams struggle to gain control. Eventually, Abu Fani spots Abada’s run and launches a long ball to the right flank. However, the pass has too much pace on it, and Abada is unable to reach it before it goes out of play.

FRANCE TEAM NEWS: Bradley Barcola does not start on the wing as Dembele comes into his position. Kolo Muani has not enjoyed as strong a start to the domestic season but keeps his place instead of Inter Milan's Marcus Thuram. In a boost to Ibrahima Konate's national team prospects, Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano has withdrawn due to a thigh injury, so the Liverpool man link arms with fellow Premier League star William Saliba at the back.

Just as it seems France will find the net, Gandelman makes a superb block to deny the first close-range attempt. Kolo Muani then arrives at the far post, but Feingold quickly reacts to thwart his shot. Undeterred, Dembele takes the corner from the left and plays it short, allowing France to regroup and work the ball around the box.

Camavinga attempts to thread a low pass through the defense for Kolo Muani, aiming to create a clear scoring opportunity. However, Baltaxa reads the play perfectly, sliding in at the last moment to intercept the ball and snuff out the danger.

NO PENALTY! Dembele makes a determined move, cutting inside from the right flank as he attempts to penetrate the Israel defense and get into the box. However, Azoulay remains alert and successfully dispossesses Dembele, who tumbles to the ground, appealing for a foul. The referee, however, is unconvinced and waves off the claims for a penalty.

FRANCE HAVE THEIR LEAD BACK! Camavinga displays remarkable skill as he weaves past three defenders, creating space to find Nkunku on the edge of the box. With a brilliant first touch, Nkunku shifts the ball inside to the left side of the box, setting himself up for a shot. He fires it past Glazer's right and into the back of the net.

Konate attempts to spark an attack by launching a long ball aimed at Nkunku, who is making a run inside the left of the box. However, the pass is overhit, carrying too much pace and sailing straight out of play.
